  • POV On-ride, Skyrush at Hersheypark, PA, 4K. One of the 15 roller coasters at the park! The seat many call the best on the ride, feel the power of Skyrush in the back left wing seat, with a high view over the train. This ride is considered to be one of the more intense in the World, with high positive and negative G's, and restraints that come down on your thigh instead of on your hip. Giving a free-feeling feeling like nothing else, and one of the most extreme rides in the World. #skyrush #hersheypark #rollercoaster

Hello there. Still searching for other coasters that rely on psychological senses from me as the rider. I get nothing out of WCR 😁. Skyrush's restraints are an extraordinary design taken for granted. The psych they bring to the table offers a ton. Other coasters don't provide inconstant gravitational Y forces to exceptionally represent themselves like this thing does. The fact that you can make a lateral force inconstant by a slight budge of the body is mind blowing. The fact that its GY forces can be counteracted is mind blowing. All lat elements on the coaster can be hindered by you as the rider - a left to right -GY can become a right to left +GY for example. The coaster is a maze of intensity that allows limitless perceptions by devising upon elements. The whole coaster is not a foregone conclusion to most, that's what makes it so alluring. I'm surprised the most ardent of enthusiasts haven't realized this yet. I think they should become more aware of the steadily decreasing unforeseen innovation in the world we live in. Iet's anaesthetize them in that direction :)

Very much agree. And who knows, this might be getting new restraints because of complaints from some :(

There is a bumb or kink in the drop and in the back of the train you get ejected from your seat.

This thing shouldn't exist. No other coaster meets the variation of vigor that this coaster delivers.

@@SkyrushFanboy it is a stupidly designed restraint to be fair. It’s ergonomically designed to rest on the rider’s waist/upper thigh area, but when pulled down into position, it contacts the rider’s leg closer down to the knees than at the waist. It’s almost like Intamin put two different engineering teams in charge of designing this restraint (one focusing on the rider contact point and one focusing on the placement within the seat) and they just didn’t communicate with each other at all because the shaping of that lap bar clearly wasn’t meant to touch down by your damn knees, it just digs straight into your leg. But at least you have the freedom to scoot forward and move your waist up to the position of the restraint. That way it actually contacts your body correctly and feels like any other normal restraint.
