I've seen so many Nissan videos that are so worried about unplugging the airbag light wires. I like your method of keeping them plugged in and resting the waterfall on the dash. Great idea!
i finally figured it out. If your car came with the basic radio - you have a Bluetooth Module in the back right wall of the trunk. You have to pull back the panel to reveal what looks like an old computer hard drive. You need to plug in an adapter to one of the wires here that will send the controls back to the new radio. I bought a $20 PAC BT-SWC-NI1 from Best Buy. This allowed me to use the up and down arrow on the steering wheel to enter ‘manual mode’ and select Yes by pressing the call button when it asked me to say Yes or No. Now Bluetooth is connected.Hope this helps
I made the change as the man shows in the video but the bluetuve and the controls on the handwheel to call or hang up the call do not work for me, does anyone know how to make it work?
I just bought a new radio that I’m replacing into my Nissan Versa. It has the same stock radio as the one you took out in this video. You’re a huge help to my efforts and I don’t feel nearly as reluctant about my purchase as I did before. Thank you. Also, no the stock radio doesn’t have Bluetooth. The car comes with Bluetooth, but only for calling, not playing media. Which was a big bummer, but I’m not the one who purchased it originally so I shouldn’t complain. Anyway, thanks again.
What part number radio did you use? I bought one that looks the same and the Bluetooth audio works and steering wheel controls work, but the USB, AM, FM, and AUX don’t work? Your fm does work though which is why I’m confused?
Course you can my brother just bought a dual DVD multimedia receiver on Walmart along with dual rear view camera for his Nissan versa he just paid $220 for the installation but everything came up real good the rear view camera just wasn't as clear as others but for $18 dollars you can't complain at all...
I just installed new radio atoto a6 pro But its mic isnt working Do i need to remove inbuilt mic Or if u could tell me which is cable for factory microphone
I have a 2018 Nissan Sentra s with a 2019 from a sv radio but I need adapter for camera and antenna? I need help finding one that work can I get some help
THANKS for sharing. I changed it on my 2015 Nissan Versa. But the Bluetooth give me a code and need I click yes. I didn’t find the enter button. everything works except the blue tooth
after up-grading the radio, did the blue tooth work? I noticed the phone buttons on the steering wheel didn't and was wandering if any thing else didn't work
As i facing a problem in dubai about radio frequency. If i want to set frequency on 106.2 but failed. Because it skipped the 106.2 while fixing 106.1 to 106.3 no 106.2 showing over there. Can anyone please guid what to do ??
good job, thanks for the video. I was wondering if you could tell me the series/model of the new radio. My son’s 2015 Versa finally the lcd screen went out on him. I’m thinking to upgrade it with the same radio you had installed. Thanks

Hi Eddie, I make a little research and find that the Nissan Sentra 2015 can be used on the Versa 15 and 16. I recently bought one on eBay, and gonna install it tomorrow. Good luck with your son's Versa!
@ just bout a used 2015 Versa sv today. My lcd screen is also out but everything else works in terms of buttons and usability. Glad I came across your comment!
@ Hey there, just asking again for confirmation. I own a 2015 Nissan Versa SV, I want to upgrade my radio to the one the person in the video used. Did this work for you? My biggest issue is the current stock radio (the one he had installed in the beginning of the video) does not support android through USB. If I could upgrade to the new one and use bluetooth audio, I could finally enjoy my spotify on my phone in the car. Thanks for any help you can give!
I did same like you but to connect the phone by Bluetooth i couldn't do that because I can't say yes and I tried manually and I couldn't find the enter button, how you did it?

I did the same swap but my sound is not the same. It doesn’t sound as loud as my original stereo. Any idea why?
Maybe the problem is the radio itself. I did same swap a month ago on mine and it seems to be a little louder.
make sure the auxiliary is unplugged
