    I was surprised how well this floated on the pow for a camber board. The 3d shaping really helps. Also very stable on high speed groomer runs. Tons of pop as well.
    But it is a very stiff board and definitely not for beginners or even intermediate riders. This board is for hard chargers only!

    Angry-your reviews are so sick! I have been looking at the Capita Merc to transition from my hot knife 156 and now this board has me very intrigued. Looking for do it all board for any conditions that isn’t so demanding to be on point all the time like my Hot Knife.

    • @AngrySnowboarder
      @AngrySnowboarder  11 месяцев назад +1

      There would be a definite decrease in demand from the rider if you went down to the Capita Mercury, this would be a little stiffer than the Mercury but more on par of the decrease you want from your Hot Knife.

    Opinions on this vs the jones aviator as an all mtn Freeride board? Specs seem like they’re too similar to put to much thought into

    Big fan, great review! I'm struggling between the Passport, Alchemist, and BSOD. Hard charger and love speed, generally prefer stiffer boards. Thoughts?

    I am torn between this and the passport, I am 6'2" 200 with 11.5 boots. looking at the 158w in the anti or the passport 159w. hard charging all mountain and freestyle rider that loves air. Appreciate the reviews and the vibes. Thanks!

    Thinking about picking up one of these as an all mountain freestyle board, torn between sizes, 58w or 61w usually ride a deep thinker 60w and a golden orca 161, also have an algoythm 60w and a k2 instrument 160, 6-1 240/50lbs 10/10.5 boot. Prefer wider boards.
    What do you think as far as size?

    Always great reviews! Question, I'm currently on a Nidecker thruster and I like it but not in love with it. It's not as snappy as the Inernet would lead you to think. Does the Antidote step it up a notch in liveliness or do you feel they are similar?

    Looking for next year's board to replace my Superpig as a 1 board quiver in Washington/Idaho/BC. Demoed next year's Antidote yesterday. Really enjoyed how the 3d contouring created a smooth ride and unique (to me) planing/boaty sensation in powder. Thought it was stiff but had good torsional flex. I thought it had more torsional flex than my Superpig with slimwall construction. Curious if you've had a chance to get on or at least flex next years Antidote yet? I loved the ride and want to get this year's version on sale, but if there's a different flex pattern between the models I may wait. The k2 rep said it was the same except the graphic, but we all know how companies sometimes tweak flex patterns year to year. I'll probably reach out to K2 directly as well and see if they know.

    Just ordered myself a 157cm. I’m 5-10 and weigh 260 atm. Hopefully the board not to small for my weight lol, I’ll try to drop some pounds before the season starts

    Do you have a preference between this and the Alchemist?

    • @AngrySnowboarder
      @AngrySnowboarder  Год назад +1

      Alchemist is a bit more raw power than this deck and doesn't have the 3D shaping. It's also stiffer.

    Intermediate rider here, was wondering if I could use this board. I mostly ride on small midwestern hills. I know how to turn and stop, I learned on the rental boards, but I'm definitely not advanced yet. Is this ok for intermediate?

    Big fan of the show my dude! So I had a Manifest team last season that delaminated on me. K2 sent me a Antidote as a replacement. Kinda bummed because I loved the Manifest team. It did everything very well it had the spirt of a twin the offset of a directional. My question is how is the Antidote for switch riding? I tend to spend a good chunk of my day riding switch. Trying to decide if I’m going to keep the Antidote or get something different.
    Thanks for making awesome videos! Keep it up and stay angry!

      Can you ride switch? Will you ride switch? Do you not fear having more tail than nose when riding switch? Answered yes to any of these you're golden. Answered no, time to learn!

    • @jstone18
      @jstone18 Год назад +7

      The Antidote was designed for the same person who loves the Manifest Team and wants a high end all mountain freestyle board. The Antidote rides switch great and was designed with switch riding in mind. The sidecut and camber profile are twin with just a little setback and a longer nose than tail. You can set your bindings forward an insert to fully center it on the sidecut if you really want it to be twin. I think you'll be stoked on the upgrade from the Manifeat Team to the Antidote

    I am looking to size up from my 154 Antidote I bought. Rode it 3 trips this season and I love it but know It’s too small. I am 5’9” 170lbs. I am not sure to do the 157 or 159? I don’t ride park if that helps etc. i appreciate your help Angry!
