Absolutely fascinating to watch, Will. I was holding my breath during the pewter pour and again while smoothing it with the scraper. I really enjoyed your engaging narration. I don't see an eye but I do see a great looking, unique mixed-media piece. I love it! Great job, keep'em coming!
    Phil

I came from Phil's channel. I don't think the bowl looks like an eye, but it definitely looks unique.
I think one of the reasons that it doesn't look like an eye is because the bowl doesn't have a dome on the top. Uncolored doll eyes actually have a very similar shape to your bowl (although they are a lot smaller, of course). After they add color to the eye, they pour plastic into the eye 'bowl' and overfill it to create a dome on top, similar to when you drop water on a penny with an eyedropper. It magnifies the color underneath and makes the shape much more eye-like.
I can't say for sure, but a rounded glass dome lid may do something similar for your bowl, if it is something you would be willing to try. My advice should be taken with a grain of salt, though. I have no idea if it would actually work.
Either way, the bowl looks great! I was amazed that you were able to poor the pewter straight out of the pan without spilling. :)
