    You can raise max brightness with apps like Vivid, its limited by the software, but the panel is capable to be significantly more bright

    Thank you for the very insightful video. I'm considering upgrading from an early-2015 13in, 8GB RAM, MBP. Did you test the M3 Max's ability to use up to 4 external monitors? Would you say the device works smoothly with a large amount of Chrome tabs or programs open at once? I'm a law student so using Westlaw/Lexis with other tabs and multiple Word Docs open really slows down my current computer and I want enough capacity for my computer to handle it without the recurring glitches I'm facing now on my obsolete, 8-year old device. I assume 36 GB should cover my needs given it's mostly Word and Chrome usage.

      Can confirm multitasking or having multiple tabs works like a breeze because of the large memory, I haven't tried up to 4 screens though, do have that many hahah 😅

    all i could afford realistically was the 11 core m3 14" and im happy with it, i wish it had more performance, its not a big upgrade over m2 pro, so this will get outdated more quickly

    Something myself and other developers/programmers might be wondering: how does the computer perform when multiprocessing? For example, when I code in Python, I sometimes need programs/scripts that take advantage of most of the cores available on the machine. A good test case would be how long it takes to multiprocess a list of database rows by calling some API and futher enhancing the dataset.

    Hi, I'm new to your channel, out of respect for giving a great review on the Galaxy Ultra S24, I've gave you a like and subscribed to your channel, I'm not over keen on Apple products anymore, Ive ditch my Ipad and awaiting delivery of a new to me Galaxy tab s24 ultra.
    Ive begun changing my devices and encouraging all my friends and family over Samsungs phones and Tab S9 range, upon getting them familiar with the Android range, a few have and will be dropping Apple products.
    The above is my personal opinion of each product.
    Would have loved to see you make a review and comparisons of the Tab S9 range, but in feeling how well they preform could tear you and some viewers away from the Ipad range.. lol
    Thank you for posting an unbiased review of the new Galaxy S24 ultra, and I agree to wait for the following release if, as I do own the S23 Ultra.
    Take care
    James

      Thanks for the kind comment and i appreciate your support :) my network is both a mixture of Apple and Samsung, i tried to get my partner into Samsung/windows products a few years back, even bought her a surface laptop as a present but she ended up buying a macbook a year later so the laptop went to waste :D she couldn't get used to it. I will keep the Tab S9 in mind, have a list of videos to edit but not enough time for everything with full time work and sports so it may take a while haha

      @@kevnalysis thanks for your reply, and yes I will check your posts, and like them.
      My friend has an iPhone, I convinced him to try the Samsung S22, but a year later he went back to the Apple iPhone, like your wife, I suppose it's what they've always had, and understands them more.
      Take care, I'll go check out your posts now.

      @@kevnalysis What about the wrist area & trackpad?

    • @kevnalysis
      @kevnalysis  4 месяца назад +1

      @thesamalexis I haven't had any, there could be many factors like 1) hours of use per day 2) sweaty hands 3) pressure 4) UV exposure 5) how much keypad is bring used etc. I do video editing so it's less keypad intensive. if It does happen hopefully within my warranty period - I'd be taking it straight back. It would make sense that the black colour is more likely to see discolouration compared to grey
