Great video. I like your clear and concise presentation with no goofy music and product hype. I'll check out Part 1 next. Also I didn't know at all about that Micro Finesse Trailer but can't wait to try it...looks awesome. There are going to be some sorry fish around here soon.
AWESOME TUTORIAL VIDEO INCLUDING THE ORIGINAL VIDEO THAT YOU MADE REALLY OUTSTANDING I LEARNED A REAL LOT. YOU COVERED A LOT OF THINGS THAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE NOT REGARDING THE TRD AND DIFFERENT RIGGING OPTIONS. I really enjoyed it thanks man!!!! 👍
That finnese jig looks great. You have some unique ideas. Thank you for making this video and sharing your knowledge. You have earned another subscriber. Keep up the great work.
I really appreciate that Luke! Yes, you should definitely give the Z-Man micro jig a shot if you haven't already. They come 2 to a pack for $5, will be cheaper most places this weekend for Father's Day 😎
💪 i found your video because i ordered some lifted jigs ewg neds yesterday, and did some research today. Thank you for you video, im going to share with son
Good options. I just got back from fishing Table Rock Lake in Branson, MO for several days. We caught a good number of fish on Ned rigs. They didn't seem to mind the heavier jig weight we used in deeper water or the wires that made them weedless.
Your video is well done and full of helpful suggestions. I have one more. Z-Man Finesse TRDs and Gamakatsu Skip Gap worm hooks size 1/0 are made for each other. It's like Gamakatsu got together with Z-Man and worked it out.
I haven’t had the beat luck with the CPS hooks with elaztec, I usually just old school Texas rig it. I love using it in a floating worm setup. The buoyancy slows the fall a little.
This video helps me a lot to learn the Zman TRD basic rigging. It would be de great if you make a vid about Zman minnowz. wormz, crawz and hogz.. Tight lines and thanks for sharing!🤝
Lighter is better, when conditions allow for a lighter weight. Throw those super light weights in some of the moving water I fish and it’s way downstream before it has a chance to do anything. There’s a reason they make different weights.
It would be useful if I could see what you’re doing with the rod simultaneously with the bait. I haven’t fished in a while and I’m not sure how I should present the bait I used to try baits out in my pool at my old house. But I no longer have that option
The Z-Man Finesse ShroomZ Micro Jig is a ned rig jig, see if you can find them. Or, you can tie your own if you have a vice and access to fly fishing materials. I'll make a video on that soon!
Sometimes I'll rig a ned with a lightweight jighead and rig it wacky.... make for an even slower presentation. I've never seen anyone do it.. so i called it "matt's NOTHING rig" LOL
I've brought in some good (3 lb +) bass on 1/32 crappie jigheads and I was wondering about this. Those Z-man jigs can get in the wallet pretty quick, especially going after creek smallies. Matt's Nothing Rig could be a game changer!
I think guys use 1/5 and 1/6 heads for two reasons, both related. One, casting distance and two because they are using too heavy a line/leader and need the weight just because of the oversized line.
I hear you Robert. Is there a reason you're not downsizing your line and gear though? I recommend something in the ballpark of 10 pound braid to a 6 pound fluorocarbon leader...
Ich mag eure Clips aus den USA, wechsel endlich mal auf ein Metrische Einheit,es würde die ganze Sache viel einfacher gestalten einfach DIN normen mit Gramm, Zentimeter, etc...👌
One of these days (hopefully before the Lord calls me home) I'll be able to get these darn things rigged STRAIGHT, like you do! Liked and subscribed!👍
These are great. I like the underwater views. Helps to visualize what the bait is doing. Thanks
Thanks Tyler for the info on the Lifted Jigs TX rug head. Much appreciated. Don
Love the underwater footage and step by step instructions!

This video gets right to the point. A lot of very good information. Thank you for doing it.

Excellent underwater action views.

Good class thanks
Great tutorial, I will get some Ned Rigs and try your techniques out. Have a tight line day.
I appreciate that. You'll enjoy the ease of fishing the ned rig and how many fish you can catch, but it does require some patience!
Great video. Just subbed
Great detail and camera work. Thanks @Hooksetsarefree

Great video brother! New sub here.
Awesome job
Thank you Frank!

I won the staring contest 😂

I'll be happy to. Thanks for watching and for the request Crippleman!
God bless and you are welcome Tyler! Regards, Richie.
New sub!

Awesome video! Have you tried a Carolina or splitshot rig? Been curious...
Just subbed
Great videos!!! What line do you use? Straight floro or braid to leader?
It would be useful if I could see what you’re doing with the rod simultaneously with the bait. I haven’t fished in a while and I’m not sure how I should present the bait
I used to try baits out in my pool at my old house. But I no longer have that option
This video just popped up in my suggested videos. You gotta be doing something right so I’ll watch this video
Thank you for watching!
Right on lifted for the win, flatlands are good 2 but the hook is jus a tad bigger and 2 big IMO for a trd great for a hula tho
Nice! I'll check out those flatlands ones. Thanks for watching!
11/32 to 1/16 jig head I use I want the ewg with head on them I don't got nice video.
Can you use the ned rig as the weight for your drop shot? Local rules apply
Ive been using a craw on my skirted ned rigs. bedding bass have been trying to break my rod.
Where can I buy those ned jigheads with fluffy stuff ???? Please guide me, is so hard to find in Romania these kind of setups, nobody uses them....

I caught a couple bass like that
Really hard to put these trds on keepers. But mannn when you get it right they perform
I caught bluegill and a catfish on a pink TRD today
Right on man, nice work!
I’ve used a Ned rig once and got caught on the first cast and had to break the line. I should get some of the weed less
what size hook was the lifted EWG hook? 4/0?
They're 1/0
It's just a 1/0 VMC

I have trouble taking the zman off the hook without ruining it.
Can you Carolina rig this??? That would be sicck
Yes you can, and YES IT WOULD!
I can’t rig it straight pls help
Prost!
@@hooksetsarefree cool grüsse aus der Schweiz 👍
I just caught a big ole snook on a Ned rig
There is one more cool way
What if ur fishing like 40 foot of water
Try a carolina rig or dropshot if they're on bottom or use a heavier head (1/5, 1/6, 1/8) and count it down to where they're suspended.
Ok I usually use a 1/4 oz green pumpkin jig and with catch a lot of 3 pound spots
Nice man, keep it up!
