  • Hey beautiful people! I know it's been awhile but I am back with a super cool video. I am bringing you along while I make my graduation dinner dress (a ball gown dress for about $50).
    I have to give some credit to Sunset Moonfire, because I found the tulleshop.com via her video. Here is the link to her channel: / @starsetmoonfire
    I did buy the 50 yrd bolt of tulle from the Tulle Shop on sale. It's a great website so go check it out. I will upload pictures to my social media with the final completed look so keep an eye out for those. Make sure to go and check out my other videos and leave me some comments:)

      It was two layers (just kept it folded over as it came off the bolt) but because it was so much of it and gathered it wasn’t see through

    Where did you acquire the adhesive for the waistband? I love the idea of the adhesive.

      Sorry I’m just now seeing this🥺 but I got the adhesive at JoAnns. It was around the interface area.

    When pulling the string, did you pull it all the way out ?

    • @sparklingalexx
      @sparklingalexx  4 года назад +2

      No, i just pulled until I got the amount of gathering desired and sewed on top of it to hold it in place. If you pull the string all the way out your gathering will come undone. Thanks for watching( sorry about the long reply)

    And is there a petticoat underneath?

    • @sparklingalexx
      @sparklingalexx  4 года назад +3

      S X I wrapped it at least 3xs I did wear little shorts under but there was no need for a petticoat as the tulle is very thick when layered

    How many times do you wrapped it around the waist?

    How many yards of clothes you used any one answer me

    • @sparklingalexx
      @sparklingalexx  3 года назад +1

      Hi Komal! Thanks for watching. I did not measure the exact about that I used but I estimated about 20-30 yrds I think. I purchased the bolt of 50 yrds from The Tulle Shop and used a little bit more than half. I just kept rolling the material as I sewed until I got the desired puffiness to fit my liking. I hope this helps:)
