    🥰I loooove! It turned out great! 🏆 ♥ You brought out the little girl in me, dancing & twirling in pretty dresses. I thought I lost that innocence & femininity a long time ago, but no, I've just been buried beneath the burdens of adulthood.

    I love, love, love this petticoat!
    Thank you for showing how you made this - and especially for showing which difficulties you had while making this. All the work really paid off.

      Thank you ! Synthetic tulle is not a very expensive fabric especially by the bolt, I got the 80 meters or 50euros.

      @@HazarielAtelier I loved reading this, because even if I get it for a bit of an higher price, that's a lot better than I thought! I've been holding off on making a huge poofy skirt because I thought I wouldn't be able to afford it, but now I have an urge to google some tulle options ^^ thank you so much for the awesome, entertaining video!

    The swishing movement reminded me of tapes and VHS. In old movies, they'd have moments where they'd spill tape everywhere and that movement gave me memories of that.

    I did something similar a few years ago. My petticoat has 10 rows of double, pleated and hemmed ruffles. My stupid mind demanded that I did the ruffles by hand... Most two months of my life... 😅

    Quite hypnotic the way it moves especially that last ten seconds. By the way, did you get your 530 fixed or are we time-travelling?

    • @HazarielAtelier
      @HazarielAtelier  3 года назад +3

      Thanks ! And great eye ! I had a 530-2 and a 530-1 that I used for parts. Now I switched them back and use the least powerful 530-1 until I can find another motor for the other.

    SOOOOO MUCH HEM TO SEW!! 😂🤯 Even with an electric machine, I still feel that pain... (99% of skirts I make are 8-panel ones with wide hem circumferences, and that final seam aaaaall around is definitely not my favourite step.... so boring but also challenging as I struggle to sew in a straight line at the best of times!)
    Loved your troubleshooting in this bid - great problem solving skills. Interestingly, adding the bias tape actually made the petticoat work better I reckon, despite bring a problem fix? The extra weight at the hem of each layer not only stopped it riding up, but really gave it enough heft to swing nicely!

    In the original Disney Cinderella. In the scene where the evil stepsisters, Drusilla & Anastasia, in their yellow and puce gowns, lift up the front of their gowns and rush over to be introduced to the prince at the ball.
    When you were bouncing up and down at the end there, that is exactly the same as their gowns bounced 😂
