Yes, he has worked wonders for a lot of wrestlers. I looked at his site, but it was for my health issues which was chronic back pain with possible surgery maybe sometime in the future, but it looks good for a lot of people.
Love these guys! They both seem really down to earth and they've overcome what many people couldn't. So glad they're back in the WWE where they belong. :)
I've watched a ton of these previews and this one is the only one that's made me want to spend money. These guys look like two guys I'd wanna sit down and talk with.
Good to see the Outlaws cleaned up and are doing well. The wrestling business ain't no joke for real. It's amazing how so many people in the business get hooked on drugs and booze.
I had no idea these hit rock bottom. I loved the Outlaws and DX, these guys were entertaining and pretty good in the ring. Road Dogg did a good job of hiding his drug problem during the good years
I've never really been the biggest fan of born again stuff, but it really is nice to see a really positive shoot like this. A lot of interviews of older wrestlers are depressing, but these two really seem to be having a good time. Glad they made it to where they are today!
It happens to people who are arrogant and think they are better then others. I found it funny that they actually thought they were better than Bret Hart. It obviously touched a nerve when Bret Hart called them mid carders. These guys were lucky to be at the right place at the right time. Aside from that they were just a bunch of curtain jerkers. Imagine they did a 60 minute Iron Match, what a joke!
They were a very talented tag team. They had excellent chemistry. Billy Gunn could really work and Road Dogg could cut a hell of a promo. Road Dogg could sell a beating, and Billy could hot tag better than most. I think they would have worked in the 80s, and I think them in their prime could work now with all the talented tag teams. Might even be able to add them into the TLC era, but IDK, that was a special chemistry between those three teams.
It takes a big man to admit his mistakes and change himself. Good job, guys and keep bettering yourselves. You were awesome in the ring and I hope you guys stay sober and clean the rest of your lives so you can ENJOY your later years.
God I'm glad these two cleaned up. They were up there with Scott Hall, Shieky and a few others who I keep waiting to wake up and read that they died. I just hope they keep it clean & get back to what they do best.
On this very video you just heard Road Dogg saying he had thought about blowing his brains out. Just hope you never get to that point. When it ain't fun no more, it gets real dark.
Road Dog could probably do a great character who parodies/reflects that interesting wrestling phenomenon of the newly sober, newly religious, too locquacios to keep a secret, older wrestler. "The Newly Sober Outlaws!" could be legendary.
one thing I never understood about wrestles is how so many of them are did so much coke and road dogg is talking about doing crack and meth and yet, they all still manage to keep on about 220lbs of muscle lol, roids are a hell of a drug
Joe Barracuda the way I look at it, is that you are getting all this money, you can buy lots of drugs, you need to look good to keep your job, you’re job gives you more money to buy drugs. So in most cases drugs are probably a motivator. But I honestly don’t know.
Watch the Jericho road dogg promo from summerslam 1999. Road dogg tells lawler "say that again and I'm punchin u...nah I'm just kidding I won't punch u" I wonder if he was actually serious when he said that
I like these guys a lot, I'm really glad they climbed out of the hole they were in - I loved seeing the whole DX crew re-unite in the ring at Raw 1000 - that was special. It was like I could see the bitterness swirling down the drain, where it belongs
Road Dogg, 2006: "We're here without the dress code and the Wellness Policy." Road Dogg, 2012: "The Wellness program saved my life." And people bash WWE when they're piratically turning people's life around for the good. Yet the company that Road Dogg was in during the first quote allow's a person to get multiple DUI's without punishment and allow's wrestler's to work high/intoxicated.
Wow it’s intriguing how the wrestlers of today are so much more health conscious and don’t like that sex drugs and rock and roll life style. Like wrestlers in the 80s and 90s did.
I agree. I never thought I would say that one day but I think Road Dogg should be on everybody's list of the Top 20 talkers in the history of Wrestling. Billy Gunn said that Road Dogg was the best ever; I don't agree with that, but yeah, he was one of the best. My Top 10: Bobby Heenan, Roddy Piper, Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, Jake Roberts, The Rock, Jerry Lawler, Superstar Graham, Nick Bockwinkel, Jesse Ventura.
5:28 was the best part to me LOL. I love the new age outlaws and to watch this shoot is awesome. OH ,YOU DIDN'T KNOW ??? YO' ASS BETTER CALL SOMEBOOOOOODDDDDYY !!!
Back in 2006 when HBK & HHH reformed DX, the former New Age Outlaws, Brian Gerard "Road Dogg Jesse Jammes" James and Monty "Kip" "Badass Billy Gunn" Sopp were in TNA as the Jammes Gang, BG and Kip. They renamed themselves the Voodoo Kin Mafia, after Vincent Kennedy McMahon, as a protest and said that DX stood for "Dumb to the Xtreme." The team left TNA after 2008 and reformed DX with HHH, HBK and X-Pac on the 1000th Raw on July 23rd as if nothing happened because TNA no longer wanted them.
So what he is saying is that Cannabis is his anti-drug. When he could not find Cannabis on the streets(shouldn't have to, should be legal) he would consume legal alternatives like Alcohol and Xanax, which are both much more intoxicating and are also lethal, unlike Cannabis. /end rant. I know RVD talks about how much Cannabis helps with pain remediation as well.
Plus Road Dogg is currently part of the WWE's talent scouts. He's around NXT and helping wrestlers who want to make it to Raw and SmackDown with their in ring personalities and characters.
@meep316 If they would bring in Hero and Claudio together that could be something to see. Kings of Wrestling vs The New Age Outlaws. Briscoe Brothers vs New Age Outlaws would be something to see too. Jay and Mark.
I remember not to long ago you guys was blaming everything on triple h.Billy gunn said he was gonna beat triple h's ass next time that he seen him.Guess he thought twice about it when he was on raw awhile back in the reunion, Glad you guys seen that you 2 are the ones that screwed up you career's not triple h.He kept his head on straight and busted his ass. Also glad you guys are clean and healthy now.
God Bless these guys, even if they cant beat the demons at least they are trying. Yesterday another guy I went to highschool with passed away because of drugs(oc's,roxy's.dope.). It is time for people to start fighting these demons!!
Actually it did. He was very over with the fans and could've been a major champion--even with the Mr. Ass gimmick--had HHH not being trying to bury people & had Gunn and Dogg not been snortinh drugs and getting drunk every match.
"And I punched him in the face"
And they still hang out. Bros for life right there.
Thank God for DDP and what that man has done for Scott Hall & Jake Roberts. He saved both there life.
Yes, he has worked wonders for a lot of wrestlers. I looked at his site, but it was for my health issues which was chronic back pain with possible surgery maybe sometime in the future, but it looks good for a lot of people.
love the brutal honesty from these guys
That's the New Age Outlaws for you. Oh you didn't know!?
Love these guys! They both seem really down to earth and they've overcome what many people couldn't. So glad they're back in the WWE where they belong. :)
Billy Gunn, his outlook on life sounds a lot like Scott Hall's. Man, wrestling during the 90's and early 2000's sounds like a lunatic fringe.
Good to know the Outlaws are doing well now. They were my favourite part of DX and the Attitude Era as a whole.
Two of the best performers in my watching era!
wow. God bless Billy and Road Dog. These guys have been through a lot. Good thoughts to them and their recovery.
I had no idea these hit rock bottom. I loved the Outlaws and DX, these guys were entertaining and pretty good in the ring. Road Dogg did a good job of hiding his drug problem during the good years
I've watched this a hundred times. Great inspiration for a lot of people....js
Its amazing how much they have matured since the last interview..defiantly excited for this one
I've never really been the biggest fan of born again stuff, but it really is nice to see a really positive shoot like this. A lot of interviews of older wrestlers are depressing, but these two really seem to be having a good time. Glad they made it to where they are today!
Really sucks that drugs and alcohol got in the way of a Billy Gunns career, he was really funny on the mic and entertaining in the the ring
Might even be able to add them into the TLC era, but IDK, that was a special chemistry between those three teams.
@@m.a.omarkhail8294 shut up idiot. They are two of the best that ever did it
It takes a big man to admit his mistakes and change himself. Good job, guys and keep bettering yourselves. You were awesome in the ring and I hope you guys stay sober and clean the rest of your lives so you can ENJOY your later years.
glad to see the outlaws coherent and in high spirits, great performers the both of them.
New Age Outlaws. 1 of the best Tag Teams of all time.
"Wrestlers are horrible people" lmao
God I'm glad these two cleaned up. They were up there with Scott Hall, Shieky and a few others who I keep waiting to wake up and read that they died. I just hope they keep it clean & get back to what they do best.
THANKYOU FOR YOUR HONESTY AND PEACE BE WITH YOU BOTH!!!
On this very video you just heard Road Dogg saying he had thought about blowing his brains out. Just hope you never get to that point. When it ain't fun no more, it gets real dark.
This is a great shoot. I highly recommend it.
I was just like both of them and it is very hard to get sober and stay sober I been sober 11 yrs since the day my daughter was born
NAO were perfect for the Attitude Era...loved the chemistry
alot like the outsiders, i can listen to these two talk wrestling all day. great tag teams have great chemistry
They were my favorite wrestling team and ountof Dx too road dog was the shit
it's awesome to see a sober shoot coming out, looks really interesting...
good to see these guys enjoying life sober
Road Dog could probably do a great character who parodies/reflects that interesting wrestling phenomenon of the newly sober, newly religious, too locquacios to keep a secret, older wrestler. "The Newly Sober Outlaws!" could be legendary.
Glad they got it together love these 2
I'm
Glad to hear they are doing a lot better and not so bitter anymore
one thing I never understood about wrestles is how so many of them are did so much coke and road dogg is talking about doing crack and meth and yet, they all still manage to keep on about 220lbs of muscle lol, roids are a hell of a drug
DarkAlleyDigital hahaha if you look at road dogg back in 99-01 he always looked average , normal size , he never was muscular
lol Well going to lift was one of the things they actually kept up. It's everything else the were ghosting.
Joe Barracuda the way I look at it, is that you are getting all this money, you can buy lots of drugs, you need to look good to keep your job, you’re job gives you more money to buy drugs. So in most cases drugs are probably a motivator. But I honestly don’t know.
Famasser one the best moves ever
When the Road Dogg tells you , you got a problem hahahah priceless.
Watch the Jericho road dogg promo from summerslam 1999. Road dogg tells lawler "say that again and I'm punchin u...nah I'm just kidding I won't punch u" I wonder if he was actually serious when he said that
So proud of these guys
Glad that Road Dogg went to rehab. It's sad to hear him talk about contemplating suicide.
how epic would a Outsiders vs New Age Outlaws fued have been..Tag Team ICONS!!!
Dolph Ziggler reminds me so much of Billy Gunn. It's interesting.
Yes so true
adu1991 yeah, that's a good one.
Maybe that's why he stole the famouser
I like these guys a lot, I'm really glad they climbed out of the hole they were in - I loved seeing the whole DX crew re-unite in the ring at Raw 1000 - that was special. It was like I could see the bitterness swirling down the drain, where it belongs
WOW ROAD DOGG AS CHANGED
GOOD TO SEE HIM LOOKING WELL
AND YES HE'S A ROAD AGENT FOR WWE
Road Dogg, 2006: "We're here without the dress code and the Wellness Policy."
Road Dogg, 2012: "The Wellness program saved my life."
And people bash WWE when they're piratically turning people's life around for the good. Yet the company that Road Dogg was in during the first quote allow's a person to get multiple DUI's without punishment and allow's wrestler's to work high/intoxicated.
they truly are tha new age outlaws forever
New Age Outlaws just got two words for the 7 dislikes :D
How much do these guys get paid for these shoot interviews... Or like kayfabe commentaries with Sean. Anyone have an idea? Just curious.
Great to see them positive after all that crap they took.
Road Dogg stated that TNA is not going close shop. I agree. TNA been here longer than WCW and ECW.
Wow it’s intriguing how the wrestlers of today are so much more health conscious and don’t like that sex drugs and rock and roll life style. Like wrestlers in the 80s and 90s did.
road dogg needs to train new guys on talking. god was he good on the mic. reminds me of jake roberts unfortunately
They sound like good humble dudes. Glad to hear they are on the right path now.
BRING THEM BACK! BRING THEM BACK!
Without* ....sorry had to clear that up for you. RT @mavsman84 Dolph Zigglar reminds me of Billy Gunn. But with talent
I agree. I never thought I would say that one day but I think Road Dogg should be on everybody's list of the Top 20 talkers in the history of Wrestling. Billy Gunn said that Road Dogg was the best ever; I don't agree with that, but yeah, he was one of the best.
My Top 10: Bobby Heenan, Roddy Piper, Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, Jake Roberts, The Rock, Jerry Lawler, Superstar Graham, Nick Bockwinkel, Jesse Ventura.
god is a placebo for these guys.
happy they have it though
which is new for me
" we got in an argument about who was gonna start the match and i punched him in the face" hahahaha
5:28 was the best part to me LOL. I love the new age outlaws and to watch this shoot is awesome. OH ,YOU DIDN'T KNOW ??? YO' ASS BETTER CALL SOMEBOOOOOODDDDDYY !!!
@ 1:16, "When you're doing 130 Zanex's in 4 days there's something wrong with ya" LMFAO OMFG XD
how the fuck did billy gun stay in shape with all the drugs .
happy shoot finally! Proof that not everyone is retired and miserable
Back in 2006 when HBK & HHH reformed DX, the former New Age Outlaws, Brian Gerard "Road Dogg Jesse Jammes" James and Monty "Kip" "Badass Billy Gunn" Sopp were in TNA as the Jammes Gang, BG and Kip. 130 xanax in four days. That's some serious shit
Yeah must be 0.25mg's. Doesn't make sense.
is that billy gunn or shawn micheals.. because i cant tell because the life stories are identical
Billy
*****
i know who it is! i was saying that because their life story is so similar.
The Clarences love & support The New Age Outlaws!
even the smaller dosage is ridiculous. respect to him for getting clean
No moron. It's still a drug and they are both saying neither of them use ANYTHING
Chuck and Billy gimmick makes so much more sense now...
better for them to be clean and sober then them being another wrestling tragedy
where's part one?????
I always loved these guys , wwe won't listen to the fans on who the would love to show up on tv, would love Sid to comeback also,,
Solid props to Road Dogg and Billy for kicking off drugs.
ziggler and billy have to be related! the way he smiles, the way he chews, the hair, ziggler is billy all over! sept billy is jacked haha
Billy gun was really fun in the ring.
Yeah....how dare people try to change for the better..
I wonder why they came back then....Cool interview
Wwe needed a heel team for the usos to take the belts from and after old school raw they said what about NAO?
That makes sense.
Plus Road Dogg is currently part of the WWE's talent scouts. He's around NXT and helping wrestlers who want to make it to Raw and SmackDown with their in ring personalities and characters.
Funny how they make you wanna take drugs rather than not. Go figure.
Please compare the two. I would love to see how similar they are to the point one is considered a clone
i missed the cornrows lol i remember he had them braided in this sort of mohawk
Great interview!
xoxo
The Clarences
New age outlaws, Brian James and Monty Sopp talks about Jim Ross, Bob Armstrong, Bradley Armstrong, Lady Gaga and more.
Agreed...proud of them!
@meep316 If they would bring in Hero and Claudio together that could be something to see. Kings of Wrestling vs The New Age Outlaws. Briscoe Brothers vs New Age Outlaws would be something to see too. Jay and Mark.
Dam road dog did everything he must've had mad fun on the road
I remember not to long ago you guys was blaming everything on triple h.Billy gunn said he was gonna beat triple h's ass next time that he seen him.Guess he thought twice about it when he was on raw awhile back in the reunion, Glad you guys seen that you 2 are the ones that screwed up you career's not triple h.He kept his head on straight and busted his ass. Also glad you guys are clean and healthy now.
I thought I was watching Sid Vicious at first!
Billy is so freaking gorgeous.
Truer words have never been spoken @ 5:27
best tag team ever, they were using tlc way before hardys, dudleys, e&c..
Road dogg host a youtube segment, and billy gunn might actually come back to the ring for a match
We need an Outlaws return at the Rumble, plus Dogg needs his cornrows back at some point
i would also add hogan just for how insane his promos were
now that's what I'm talking about.....A TO THE MEN!!!!....ME A SLIDERS GO WAY BACK.....THE BEST 2AM BAR FOOD...
@Bravesrtops Wasn't referring to Billy, like I said.
it's true. But would you rather they be like Scott Hall right now? Or clean, sober, and AA brainwashed?
loving the g shock billy gunn 8)
God Bless these guys, even if they cant beat the demons at least they are trying. Yesterday another guy I went to highschool with passed away because of drugs(oc's,roxy's.dope.). It is time for people to start fighting these demons!!
Love u guys 💜
@horsee45 Road Dogg is an agent with WWE now but I don't know what Billy is doing now.
@ViioIence IKR? Thy will reform DX soon anyway, IK how and Y
Actually it did. He was very over with the fans and could've been a major champion--even with the Mr. Ass gimmick--had HHH not being trying to bury people & had Gunn and Dogg not been snortinh drugs and getting drunk every match.
Too bad the slammies wasnt in Chicago, NYC or a good wrestling town. They would've lit up like I did hearing the New Age outlaws theme.
