True story: when I was a kid about 10 years old (I'm 35 now) I remember going to see wrestling in the Los Angeles sports arena. On one occasion the main event was Hogan vs Mr. Wonderful. Hogan won the match and began his hogan posedown. My cousin (12 at the time) tried to take a photo of Hogan but he missed it, we were dissapointed (and our faces showed it). Hogan then pointed at us and posed again we took the photos gave a thumbs up and he did the same. that's how I always remember Hogan thanx
Does Honkytonk Man get along with anybody in this business. I do love his shoot interviews. He tells it like it is, he holds nothing back. Very entertaining.
interesting conversation. I never thought flair was anything more than a reboot of "BUDDY ROGERS" HOGAN? A reboot of "Superstar Billy Graham " B$ Hulk there was Carole Kings 70's song "Brother Brother Brother" ruclips.net/video/hEjrEwvZs9s/видео.htmlsi=xNGh0unlQUQYjt8P Hogan and flair are so full of themselves.
The key part is at the end, where he mentions that it's a great form of self-promotion and he gets double the bookings after he does one. I think he will find a point of contention with anyone, so long as it makes for juicy story-telling. As far as not taking bumps and working a crowd without touching the other guy. That is possible, but a well rounded worker should be able to bump, too. It's funny to hear him turn on Hogan again. He often gave Hogan credit for all his big 80s paydays.
He is old school. Old school is not about taking the big bumps every night. He could wrestle a basic match and get over. I know because I saw him work in Birmingham. I also saw him do a Russian Chain match with Boris Zuchoff in Birmingham for a regular house show. They were doing the TV taping, but it was a regular weekly house show. If I remember correctly though, it was the main event, and both men left bloody.
netscorcher25 dude bought a pound of ribs and called it a day...smh didn’t even fill the lemonade machine on his way out the door after being there at the grand opening for a heavy 15 mins.
People always say that oh man i love honest people it's sad that you very seldom run into people that speak their mind. But then when they do it, they can't take it. Love Honky, don't ever change.
most white men now are afraid to speak their mind. they are weasels with no chutzpah interesting conversation.
Thanks for all of the feedback on my comments, I appreciate it. Even though some of you guys disagree with me everything has been mature and professional and I thank you guys for that. I don't like this man personally, something about him and the way he presents himself makes me think he is nothing but a punk. Some of you guys disagree and it is your right but I dont think my point has sunken in. HOW CAN ONE MAN HAVE A PROBLEM WITH EVERYONE HE HAS MET/WORKED WITH? Tell me who he talks good about
I totally agree with you bud. How can one guy hate so many people? If he is telling the truth and he does hate that many people then a lot of people must hate him? And what must that say about him?? And you're also right about the whole "Elvis" thing. As long as I can remember that's been his whole career. He just comes off as a very bitter guy.
HTM was given a long reign because he was the guy EVERYONE wanted to see get beat and there were asses every 12 inches in a lot of buildings to see him hopefully drop the IC title on any given night.
@GhostfogND i know the man. he donates money to churches, the school system, the hospice centers . he just lives down the road from here in KY. he also is a hard worker. has a nice farm with millions of dollars of equipment!!
@NaughtybyNaitcha Those guys you mention are all highly regarded, business wise. But on a personal level, at least several of them have come off to multiple wrestlers as dirtbags. That's what these shoots are, mostly talking about behind the scenes stuff and not "Wow, Hogan-Andre drew buyrates!" Plus, HTM knows what these shoots are sold on, bringing up all kinds of dirt.
I’m no fan of Bischoff, but I don’t think when he said he enjoyed firing HTM that it was a personal thing. Eric simply was not a fan of the character and was pretty much forced by Hogan to give him a spot. As much shit as Wayne talks about Hogan, he got plenty of paydays riding the Hulksters coattails.
I could make a 72 hour video talking about why I hate every single person I do. Trust me you can hate that many people, But in this case being "Wrestling", You have a point.
I wish he'd tell the story where Dynamite Kid found out he was talking shit about Harley Race, dragged him into a stall and made him cry without laying a finger on him. I think we all knew kids like HTM growing up, a kid who runs his mouth behind everybody's back and when called on it, they sob and whine and beg and plead. The difference is those kids grew up...HTM clearly hasn't.
@NaughtybyNaitcha bad news, jimmy hart, paul bearer, andre, frankie kazarian, jay lethal, zbyszko, others. hes very honest about his opinions on people, he rags on hogan all the time but still praises his ability to draw. hes a good guy who gives his honest views on wrestling and other things.
Says alot about how much ric respects his friends and their gifts,it is true ric sold the watch shawn bought and gave him,so ric could pay his x wife,RIC FLAIRS LIFE WAS TOLD THROUGH THE MOVIE "THE WRESTLER" a sad broken down man holding on 2 a once great career and tarnishes his career as each day passes,Ric had the story book career but he didnt have the ending.........
HRM is not the only wrestler, past or present, to have said things that do not put Hogan or Flair in a good light. Seems the only time anybody says anything nice about Hogan is when they are working with him - After, they pretty much either say nothing or just go for the jugular. I know I flew once on a plane with Hogan - And he was the biggest hackass one would ever wanna be stuck on a plane with. He had class, alright, it was all low . . . I believe HTM.
Although he gives entertaining interviews, all of his rants can be answered simply. If he is so right in his opinions then he would be making those millions of dollars, and not all the other people who are making those millions of dollars.
I might agree with you except HTM isn't the only one. Flair hated a lot of his co-workers. Sable hated a lot of her co-workers. Your arguement doesn't work because he isn't the only one. He isn't one person who couldn't get along with anyone else. Jim Cornette shoots like this all the time, and no one says anything to him for it. The wrestling industry SUCKS, and it's people like THM who made it bearable.
Its sad now, all the old wwf wrestlers i used to love are just all bitter assholes that are jelous of the other wrestlers that came out of it clean and successful.
The key to being a great heel is working the crowd to the point that they want to KILL you, it is a lost art. HTM was that kind of heel.
This is true. I believe that I was good at it in my days but HTM pushes it to a true art form.

I'm a Flair mark, and I thought that impression was seriously one of the funniest things I've seen in a while
*WhoOOo Throw me off the bus, WhoOooOo... i've got a gusher!!*
Saw you once as a kid. Still remember that day. Right on!

LMFAO, I love HTM more and more after I watch his shoots... H's freaking hilarious!
One of my fondest HTM moments is when he found out that TNA was bringing in Hogan and Bischoff and he said “TNA dead in a year.” Lol
The Ric Flair impression was his BEST YET!!! Laughed my ass off when he goes....WOO....WOOO!!! LMFAO!!!
I like this guy. He talks crapola. He was one of my top 5 favorite heels as a kid. No one was better than Rick Rude though.
HTM is a legend, please do more shoots with HTM.
Wayne was a great worker who knew how to really get over as a baby or a heel.
The key part is at the end, where he mentions that it's a great form of self-promotion and he gets double the bookings after he does one. I think he will find a point of contention with anyone, so long as it makes for juicy story-telling.

"and you ran out of ribs and u ran out of food!!!!!!!" lol
Omfg.
I read this as HTM said it!
mega talent verbally no doubt, pretty captivating dude!
Why not mention in the title that it's a preview? Stop trying to get views via deception.
He is cool cocky and babababad
My oldest & I took a picture with HTM...LOL Grw up on this guy!
HAHA! His Ric Flair impersonation.
ABDULLAH’S RIB HOUSE!!😭😭😂😂😂😂
netscorcher25 dude bought a pound of ribs and called it a day...smh didn’t even fill the lemonade machine on his way out the door after being there at the grand opening for a heavy 15 mins.

He's Jerry Lawler's first cousin...Started wrestling in Memphis as Wayne Farris...His real name..
I totally agree with you bud. How can one guy hate so many people? If he is telling the truth and he does hate that many people then a lot of people must hate him? And what must that say about him?? " Walking Tub of shit " LoL
Or Lard lol
An Abdullah match really puts me in the mood for ribs!

Gotta love the guy. His larger than life, asshole shtick never gets old :)
@SlippersFuzzy bundy does have a shoot video,it is pretty good
I’m no fan of Bischoff, but I don’t think when he said he enjoyed firing HTM that it was a personal thing. he does alot for charities, donates money 2 school foundations ,.... donates money to the hospice centers , churches etc .etc.
@nick0mac
I know. What I should have said was he needs to do one with RF Video.
me to man i never liked him as a kid but damn after hearing all these shoots he's funny as hell and tells it like it is lol
"Bitch off" LMAO
Htm was so good. I look back at some of his matches and he still gets me pissed off and I'm a fully grown adult now lol
That's one form of talent I suppose.
His in-ring work was not pretty. 😅
Urgh
Legend.
Love Johnny Ace!
Brickhouse didn’t…
HE'S RIGHT, FOLKS THE BILLY JACK HAYNES DVD.....IS GREAT !!!!!!!
Why thank you.
Honky surely is one of the easiest and most skilled talkers…
SOMEONE PUT THIS WHOLE INTERVIEW ON HERE
Wayne Farris was some punk substitute teacher from Munford, TN. He would be nothing without Jerry "The King" Lawler.
@Junglemaster1 Cool bro. Good to know. I just wish some of these wrestlers would relax. Their egos are ridiculous sometimes
WHY HASNT ANYONE UPLOADED THIS YET???????
He's right about Hogan, Bischoff, and Jeff Hardy.
@ThaWiseJester
Does he actually say that he brings in more money than Flair in the actual shoot?
'Cause here I don't hear it
@cstring420 Ha! Well Played Sir!
Rob I have a question
Does anyone have a copy of this shoot like the full copy at all?
@NaughtybyNaitcha
bad news, jimmy hart, paul bearer, andre, frankie kazarian, jay lethal, zbyszko, others. hes very honest about his opinions on people, he rags on hogan all the time but still praises his ability to draw. hes a good guy who gives his honest views on wrestling and other things.
Dynamite was no psycho, he was a Bully, there is a difference bullies only pick on People they know can't or won't defend themselves..
@rockyrack3 Except every single question for RF Video starts like this: "What are your thoughts on...?" or "Memories of...?"
He does make a very good point: what the fuck was Eric Bischoff thinking when he sent Jeff Hardy out there in the state he was in?
Only thing that matters: GREATEST INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION OF ALL TIME.
All other comments: blah blah blah.
so do these rf shoot dvd's sell well?
Yeah. A bookie. Sure. Match manager or match stager. Got it.
What else did you learn working backstage for the WWF back in the 80's?
He still likes more people than the Iron Sheik does.
Which one of my comments are you reffering too??
'Toughness' doesn't enter the equation. Holding a gun to your wife's chin makes him a 'psycho.'
biggest mark of himself,he taught Matt Hardy
Some of these old Wrestler's just can't "Let Go".
With all due respect, what makes you an expert? Were you a wrestler back in those days? If you were than you are the man.
So who pawned the Rolex??
''He didn't Shoot her did he...''
Either that's the best wrestling pun I've heard in years, or you have a twisted view of morality.
When will this be out?
Love his interviews! But can never hold them as truth as there are 2 sides of every coin.....woo!
He has a problem with Hogan, Bischoff, and Flair--three VERY HATED characters in the business. I give him credence on that.
HRM is not the only wrestler, past or present, to have said things that do not put Hogan or Flair in a good light. I thought this was a "StevieBreech" Video with that Orange cap and all.
I love this guy and think he's a piece of shit at the same time
To quote Booker T: tell me you didn't say that? Or write it if you're gonna be pedantic.
clearly you have not seen a jim cornette shoot
he a fin jabroni
well my point was if Dynamite was such a tough guy he would of pulled the trigger...
wooo throw me off the bus. wooo i got a gusher. wooo.
Although he gives entertaining interviews, all of his rants can be answered simply. If he is so right in his opinions then he would be making those millions of dollars, and not all the other people who are making those millions of dollars.
lol @ abdullah running outta ribs.
That is My Point He is not that much of a psycho if he didn't pull the trigger..
Funny guy, but I can't believe he's actually still wrestling. What's he, about 80 now?
I might agree with you except HTM isn't the only one. Flair hated a lot of his co-workers. Sable hated a lot of her co-workers. Your arguement doesn't work because he isn't the only one. still got the sideburns lol
woha rf is stil making shoots? Figured kayfabe killed them by now
"that's why rob doesn't even have to pay me anymore"....camera turns off.... "rob, i was just kidding about that"
Is there any wrestlers who actually say anything good about each other?
he is
Its sad now, all the old wwf wrestlers i used to love are just all bitter assholes that are jelous of the other wrestlers that came out of it clean and successful.
@MrCarl220 love it
Abdullah ate all the ribs and bones .
wait Hogan and Bissoff run TNA? haha did the owners of TNA miss what happened to WCW?
who the fuck is HTM to be talking about Ric Flair......he better learn to respect LEGENDS like Flair!!!.....WOOOO
Walk and Talk AMEND!!! That was the day. LEARN HOW TO WORK!!!!
@MrDraven37 You wouldn't of made that comment if it was not for Hulk Hogan
wooooo throw me off the bus
wooooo i got a gusher
HTM loves the trademark office.. Stealing other people's names
