On the south side it is kind of ,but not on the north side. Gang was born in Chicago but moved away when he was like 3 . He was raised in the South mostly, South Carolina i think ?
Many wrestlers have said JYD was difficult to work with because he was too stiff and no-sold maneuvers. That's probably why Vince had Harley Race work with him for WM 3 since Race could easily adapt to any opponent's style of wrestling and make it look good.
By the time JYD got to the WWF he was out of shape and deep into his drug addiction. He was extremely limited in the ring. I used to get a kick out of his big "Timber!!!" fall.

In Gary Hart's book he said OMG got Kevin & Kerry's names tattooed on his head in wccw. He got them covered up after he left of course but that's some dedication.
Damn OMG looks like Bam Bam Bigelow.
DA BEAST bam bam looks like him. The gang came around about ten years before bam bam.
Bam Bam was never that fat he was always a better athlete and more fit it seamed than gang. They were only a year apart in age but OMG started wrestling real young I think. I remember them wrestling one another at WM 4 the night Savage won the belt.
Lol twin towers have morphed together
@@Cameo718. Twin towers were big boss man and this guy as Akeem Not seeing the boss man resemblance.
@@83reggieT lol you're absolutely right completely forgot...
I do remember One Man Gang's greatest gimmick i.m.o..."The 'Panama' Gang". Just George wearing a panama hat and hawaiian shirt coming to the ring as a manager while he convalesce from knee surgery while in Florida. Well...I thought it was cool.
And then later he goes to WWF and Vince turns him into "Akeem." 😂
Ole seemed to be not really there until he spoke, I thought he had a stroke there.
I thought it was Ole too, I thought "What's with Ole?", but it's Bob Roop!
Demolition is a class act
One Man Gang looks like that guy you see at the Flea Market with his old hound dog. And Ole Anderson!! HA HA, tell us who was the shits Ole?
Akeem...the African Dream.
That name was one of the biggest ribs in pro wrestling history. I'm surprised Vince didn't try to get him to bleach his hair so he looked like an Albino.
I miss old school wrestling!
One man Gang had the coolest name in the business, he was my favorite big man wrestler
Every legend that has a story says that the Von Erichs were out of control in WCCW because their dad was the promoter/booker of the area.
Pretty much
is that Ole Anderson between Ax and OMG?
Bob Roop
It's Bob Roop
Lol OMG talking about mobility lol
I was able to complain as a really big guy that could work for a hour, he did top and second rope splashes, He was a great worker most of his career, left wrestling wrestling didnt leave him
@@tomr3422 I always liked OMG....I just thought it was funny.
Is Halstead Street Chicago a rough neighborhood? You are supposedly from there.
On the south side it is kind of ,but not on the north side. Gang was born in Chicago but moved away when he was like 3 . He was raised in the South mostly, South Carolina i think ?
oh man Kevin Von Erich.... what a bad ass. Love that guy.
Amazing how One Man Gang was complaining about the mobility of the junk yard dog.
JYD sold it when Ted DeBiase hit him with the loaded glove the first time.
Is Demolitions face paint tattooed on??
Seabass No
But they sure don’t do it very good now
I can only hear Slick Rick singing Jive Soul Bro when I see One Man Gang. I remember watching OMG squash guys on Super Stars and I have fond memory of Macho Man beating him at Mania. I honestly thought Savage was in trouble cause I had seen OMG squash guys so often... to be fair I was like 7 or 8
