They must be drunk or high, I know Road Dogg prolly was round thi time idk wat yr. this was done though. Steve got lver because of the work that he did. If anything Bret Hart or Vince McMahon did more to get Steve over than them. He would have been just as HUGE if he never wrestled anyone in DX. Vince declared war way before these two guys did their comedy thing in dx. You know, when he literally named raw, raw is war and then the warzone for the second hour. Being Austin's crash dummy didn't help establish him, he was already way over before the new dx entered into the picture in 98. Same with the Rock, he didn't need bad ass billy Gunn's stamp of approval to reach where he did. In fact when it was gunns turn to try and make it to the main event he couldn't talk so rock buried him. That's the attitude era in a nutshell and pretty much all the other wrestling organizations. You can't hang on the mic you're gonna get buried. Foley, Rock and Austin were the best talkers by far at the time.
