Craftsmanship of the highest quality Josh! Glad you did this video after the 3rd build to enable you to tweak the design and have a very familiar template to share with everyone!!! Really enjoyed the full build video and appreciated the narration as it really added to the edutainment level! Great job all around, your buggy looks fantastic!!👍👍
Well, it’s official you have moved from fantastic fabricator, and expert level RC video creator into an instructor and motivator for technical RC construction. How fantastic. Having said that, by the time you finish this build and all the new toys you will have purchased, the price of the Ripper 2 will be reasonable, very reasonable in comparison :-)
Thank you Josh for everything you go out of your way to share with the RC community. I downloaded your scx24 chassis and used it as a base to teach myself fusion to create my own reworked parts before going on to start my own projects. Without being able to gain ideas of how you had done things the learning curve would be so much bigger. Love this hobby and you guys.
You never cease to amaze me, Josh. What an incredible build. And if your better, half did the videography, hats off to her. A few times there, I thought we were about to bust into an episode of X-Files.😉 Which is more than fine with me. Takecare everyone,Happy Holidays!
Well, what can be said that hasn't. You've totally outdone yourself thus far . Watching you from the early days until now. It is absolutely inspiring. Well done!
Turned out great man! It's really awesome that you made this available to the community. My welds are starting to look a lot less like dog crap so I think I am getting close to starting the cage😃
Holy WoW Josh.. what an amazing buggy and video... probably my favorite to date both car and edit. I know you give matt a lot of crap for being all scale and stuff but the amount of work and detail that went into this build kind of blew me away. You are an artist and I am proud to call you my friend... I am here for the long haul
Great Video! Calm voice! I have no fabrication skill or any of the tools u used but after watching this video I feel like I could maybe just pull it off👍🏼👍🏼
It was really cool to watch the whole thing come together. I'm hoping to get the parts for the tube bender by the weekend. I don't have a welder but I've gathered all I need to braze up some stuff. I'm hoping to get comfortable enough with the process to cobble together a buggy chassis for next summer.
After watching this video, I now have bought the files and scs parts for the bender and have the Yes welder in my amazon cart, so I guess im gonna give this build along thing a shot, lol
wish more companies would offer non anodized parts its so much better a lot of the times and costs nothing more to offer another color and its more scale imo
The problem is that you can't be sure the part is going to stay in an untarnished condition before it is purchased. If it sits on a shelf somewhere and someone buys it and it's not perfect, they have the right to ask for a refund or exchange. So the cost of offering it does go up over time for different reasons.
I get the sense you get far more enjoyment out of the creating and building aspect of RCing. The actual being able to use the RC afterwards is secondary.
There is a link in the description to my site that has a list of everything used. The tubing is 3/16” DOM steel with a .035” wall thickness. It isn’t a common item so there are only a few sources. I have links in the list.
I should’ve watched the video first before 3-D printing all my files in PETG oh wait it just came out. Guess I am re-printing with PLA. It was pretty cool to think, I wonder what he’s doing, and then all of a sudden you describe what you’re doing, great stuff.
Can someone count the number of shirts I wore during all this filming?
One. Ya nasty.
1.. and it stinks now so you should change it.. :))
Need a spreadsheet on this?
The amount of thought and detail that went into this project is mind blowing!
I’ll say it again, The RC game has been changed forever.
FOR EV ER
All I really needed to watch was the first 5 seconds. Thanks!
She’s a beauty, Clark!

After watching this video, I now have bought the files and scs parts for the bender and have the Yes welder in my amazon cart, so I guess im gonna give this build along thing a shot, lol

That internal combustion engine would work well on the moon.

I want to see an 18 scale crawler using as many non 18 scale parts as possible
Buddy may i know what pipe tubing you usually use for build??
There is a link in the description to my site that has a list of everything used. The tubing is 3/16” DOM steel with a .035” wall thickness. It isn’t a common item so there are only a few sources. I have links in the list.
Wear do you go to become a member?
I wish I had the skill and patience
Do you sale any builds . Or do you know anyone that sells fully built rigs like that?
Seriously! I don't want another RTR. Wow! I'm done...
Awesome video and buggy. Please cover your skin to protect yourself from uv.
Can you make that video but better? Jk. It was great.
