The most satisfying Rc project I have done in 30 + years of Rc if you are bored of bolt on parts builds and want to really build your own Rc this is worth all the effort to get it done !
You helped inspire me to make my first couple of cages. Thanks for that , I mean it. Currently have a single seater cage using a 1500 mah crosswise under the bonnet using Axial pro running gear and a single seater with a huge unsightly square looking truck length bonnet that holds a 2200 mah lengthwise using the Axial builders kit running gear. As an old retired tradesman I hope you can help some of the new generation of people who have never used hand tools? I don’t envy the task of helping those who have questions. Farming as much as possible on to a Facebook group is probably a good idea. Thanks again Josh.
I used the "tack & braze" method for my chassis. I used .023 wire and just enough of a tack to keep the parts together, then brazed from there to complete the joint. It took a little more file work to clean up the joint, but is a decent option if MIG is all you have.
I'm super excited to get started on this 😃 I think I am going to braze a cage because that's what I'm working with at the moment. Definitely hope to graduate to tig welding once I develop more skills! Thanks for this opportunity Josh!
You’re gonna make me finally buy a printer! Long over due! FYI almost burned down my optic today, thankfully a friend was ballsy enough to pull the battery…. It flipped over upside down into some water then started driving on its own to eventually go up in smoke. ESC completely melted to just a heat sink! lol! Coulda been much worse… at least it was still RTR electronics still, replacements have been sitting on work bench for two weeks. Any how much appreciation for this project man. Really above and beyond
Have you thought about scaling it down to a 1/24th or 18th scale? If the design is digital, could that be an easy click and drag? I truly love your shows. Your voice is calming and you make it easy to follow instructions. You are an excellent communicator. Thanks for all you do. PS: Please never get rid of Scale News Update. Thanks again.
Hi, as I mentioned before looks like very fun project! As Im not located in the US is there any chance to get the laser cut files sent to me so I can get the parts cut here in Sweden? Thanks in advance/ Sam
I haven't added up the list just because you could chose so many ways to do it depending on the level of components you chose. I'd estimate that you could build the car for around $800 with pretty much all new parts and you could probably do it a lot cheaper if you looked for second hand deals.
You could do it for $700-800 id say. But when you do all the fancy servos and aluminum axles, etc. it gets high. But you could also just upgrade to those things over time.
Yes most people are just bolt on people, which is fine. But some people wish they could fabricate but it can seem overwhelming. This takes a lot of that away. People should always try and push themselves to learn.
Bummer, Send Cut Send do not ship to the UK "Can you ship to countries outside of the US? Yes! We ship to Canada. We do not ship to any other countries besides the US and Canada at this time, and we cannot make exceptions"

As someone who’s assembled one of these, I can honestly say it’s a fantastic and capable buggy. If you want to learn new skills, give this a go!

Lookin forward to the yeswelder video 🤘y'all have a badass day🤘☕️🤘
Let go! This build is so much fun!!!
Here we go!

Sorry Josh now I have to follow you on every social platform. You sneaked up on me and now I am ready for more Josh in my life 😂

This is an amazing project.
Long format build will be awesome.
Awesome👍
👋
So stoked for this!!
This is a wicked cool project💯👍
Do I own a TIG? Nope. Do I need another 10th scale? Nope. Should I finish a dozen other RC projects? Yes. Do I want to build one anyway? YUP
What a brilliant thing , not sure I have the skills but maybe I can learn
Anyone who wants to learn, can do it. You just have to have the desire!
I was curious about the top shaft since I didn’t see that in the member files. Looking forward to grabbing one from Vanquish.
Shout out to all of the first 60, everyone killed it. 🤙🏻

It would be pretty tough to work on that scale, but maybe worth a shot!
Oh and thanks for the kind words! IT’s appreciated.
Yes yes yes!
👋😃👍
Can u talk about what weight and where u added weight?
I want one. some day.
how do you get the trans flipped like that?
I'd love to do this, but I don't have the time to learn how to TiG weld 😂
What dia. and Thickness of tube do I need to order?
Do you have any videos instructing on how to do the cad stuff?
You can see my STL Sunday playlist for 30+ episodes.
May I ask for a free crawler template?
KISS, keep it simple señor.
Nothing makes it more simple than having all the engineering already done. Just have to build it which is the easy part.
I want to do this

What tires are those. They look good.
Vanquish Yokohama Geolandar M/T
Minus electronics, how much does the list cost?

I would love to build one of these but I'm in the UK so I don't have Send Cut Send over here. How can I get parts I need?
Brazin Scale is laser cutting and shipping for all international customers. Contact them thru their website and they will get you the parts!
@HarleyDesignsInc brilliant thank you I will contact them.
How much did you spend on your buggy? Wondering what a ball park would be into we are considering doing it.
You could do it for $700-800 id say. But when you do all the fancy servos and aluminum axles, etc. it gets high. But you could also just upgrade to those things over time.
Hey vanquish make license nittos
Mud graps and trail graps lol
I don't see the link to the tubing in description
Added.
WHERE IS THE DRIVER!!??
Since SendCutSend doesn't ship anywhere but US and CAN, how to get these parts outside of there?
I’m looking for alternatives, too many people in EU and UK are interested to not have an answer.
@@HarleyDesignsInc that would be great. 👍
Could i get all necessary parts for the buggy build by butchering a H10 Optic or any of the kits?
Could I put a hobbywing quicrun fusion in that car
You wouldn’t be able to run the scale engine.
Fascinated....but honestly that is for the 5% hardcore rc fans out there....awesome build though.
Yes most people are just bolt on people, which is fine. But some people wish they could fabricate but it can seem overwhelming. This takes a lot of that away. People should always try and push themselves to learn.
@@HarleyDesignsInc agreed... unfortunately that gets less and less in the hobby 😢

Yes! We ship to Canada. We do not ship to any other countries besides the US and Canada at this time, and we cannot make exceptions"
I will have to work on how to get everyone in Europe and UK taken care of.
Hi LCG, Do you where to buy 3/16 tubing (or close enough) in the UK?. I can only find 5mm in stainless, and 6mm in mild steel. Thanks
I don't know, but I know a man who might @@timosimracing1227
I really like how much you are offering us to help us keep up the good work 🫡
