I liked the War Crimes book.. but WoD was complete shit and made potential for WoW lore to become as screwed up and convoluted as DC and Marvel universes.

What i like about MoP is that, unlike other expansions where shit is going down and we come in to save the day, everything was fine until we came and we had to clean up our own mess.
***** Yeah well, the pandarans would endure that like they alway do. The only problem they would have had would be Da Dunder King.
Manted were fighting Pandarens for millennia.
The mantid and pandaren have been fighting for millennia... it is part of the balance in pandaria
When we come we screws that balance and made the mantid corrupted by the old god.. even the mantid themself know something is weird hence why we "help" The Klaxxi in Dread Wastes
Blame Zandalari for that, and that Zandalari is outsider like us too >.>

Lorewalker Cho, the panda that would lead entire raids of adventurers into the biggest dangers of Pandaria while watching as they get fucked time and time again.
whats even more creepy is how unharmed he walks away from the encounters, and how he mysteriously appears in the rooms

I thought MoP introduced a whole resurgence of lore in WoW. I definitely miss hearing Cho's soothing voice, anyway.
I don't like his English dub though. :/
english dub? the main language of wow is english any other language is dubbed...
I loved the Burden's of Shaohao which is sounded by the same voice actor. He has a way of igniting emotions. Maybe it's because of the artwork tho.

When Cho spoke to the Emperor I actually started crying. So touching and emotional. What a masterpiece.
I love the Goblin version of the Lorewalker Cho quests.
"Well... that's interesting. It appears most of your ancestors died in a fire."
I was surprised how moving the horde-side viewing your ancestors quest was on a Forsaken toon. For a moment, you maybe forget ho your ancestors were, and maybe expect zombies and banshees. But of course your ancestors are human. Normal, happy humans. And Cho suddenly understands with horror and sadness just what was done to your character. You the player are reminded of all that was taken from you by the Lich King. It's a real gut punch.
But it’s also really motivating.
it was funny when i was leveling and i did the quest to see your ancestors with cho, since i am a goblin he comented that is is interesting that my ancestors died in a fire

I dunno about the Alliance but each horde race got a special race exclusive line during that part. I know with Blood elves he speaks of their addiction to magic and with the undead he is terrified you are...undead.
It is kinda poetic however. He says that us Goblins take great sacrifices in the name of progress, And that even pandaren could learn from them.
I don't know much of the goblin lore, what happen to the goblins? the volcano explode at the zone or something?
Gruk'nar Goresong Exactly. Thanks to Deathwing paying a visit during a mech football game (roll with it) the Volcano on Kezan was about to explode.
Cho is the real villain of MoP. He plays both sides against each other to create his own history and gain fame.

People argue on how good MoP really was. The Thunder King, however, was hands down one of the best patches in WoW history imo.

Cho was to me one of the best parts of Mists of Pandaria. Not to ignore that he is voiced by Winnie the Pooh's Tigger, Jim Cummings (and for Nobbel, Boris Boef).
How the fuck people complain about MOP expansion? I mean really... Sometimes i think people simply are commited to hate stuff so they can sound smart.
I thin it's because Pandarens are "childish", you know that whole Kungfu Panda stuff. And everybody seems to ignore the fact that Pandarens are part of Warcraft since W3.
If you played even a bit of the expansion you see how dark and adult it really is.Too bad you never did that.

MoP was the start of the homogenization of a lot of the classes in the game. Many people stopped due to the game feeling far less individualistic when playing certain classes like Blood Knight or Shaman. Now most support-oriented classes do the same thing as any other but with different animations.
the first few quests in MoP kind of really sucked hard, and the comedy in the expansion tended to be really low brow and irritating. Overall was kind of enjoyable though, just hated the sense of humor permeating the expansion.

... Only speculating but... Is it possible that Cho has bronze dragon blood on his veins? That his great grandfather was actually an Bronze Dragon in disguise, and just created an family in Pandaria? Thus making Cho an quarter bronze dragon and he doesn't even know of it?

Possible, though I'll be honest, so far never even heard of any partial dragon characters. Not sure if like in D&D if Dragons can cross-breed.
That’d be cool.
But that would also lead to the question, Can the dragons reproduce with mortals?

If there's one character I love in Warcraft, it's Lorewalker Cho. I'm not entirely sure why, but I just like the premise of one amidst a world of conflict who sits down to tell a story once in a while. I also like Pandaren culture, in that aspect, as they understand the value of life and thus live every day to it's fullest, by drinking, revelling in good stories and by having a healthy sense of humour.
I never played WoW that much really, but your videos made me get soo much into the lore. Enough that I can appreciate it even without playing the game.
You are a true Lorewalker, Nobbel. Thanks for sharing your love for lore with all of us.

This video was great, it shows not only a story of Cho but also what was whole Pandaria about for people like me who didnt play it. And I gotta say, people hating on the expansion was pretty unfair.
People just hated the visual burnout and how the last patch was a year long with the same one raid.
Matěj Rytych People blindly hated it cause they thought it was "childish and not Warcraftish" which is total bullshit. It was a VERY dark expansion and it brought a well needed change to Warcraft and it was extremely well made. I loved every bit of it, best expansion togheter with WOTLK IMO.

I can't get over how many voices the guy that does Lorewalker Cho has done... almost as many as Steve Blum and Peter Cullen. One of my other faves he's been is Hondo Onahka from Star Wars The Clone Wars..

Lorewalker cho has been replaced with Lorewalker Nobbel.
Lorewalker Nobbel traits are as follows:
-Upgrade to storytelling by 50%
-No longer have to finish quests to get the story.
-Knowledge has been upgraded to all of Azeroth (up from Pandaria)
-Creates a monthly portal where heros can intereact with him.
-Removed Bug where Nobbel Doesnt respond to comments

The voice of Lorewalker Cho is one of the best in the game. Who ever that voice actor is he is good. especially in the patch 5.2 video. If fits the character so well, he sounds so wise and you listen when he speaks

Tbh I want Cho to narrate stories in Legion because he's like the Morgan Freeman of WoW. He just has that voice that attracts people's attention when telling a story.

One of my favorite characters. I like most Pandaran characters. Their philosophies and tales are some of the best of Warcraft has to offer... After the Horde of course.
