ive been a pandaren main since the Mop beta, but i never acturally knew the whole story here, only snippets of it, thank you Nobbel, a wonderful tale as always ^^
Chen and Lili are among my favorite characters in wow, yet I had no idea they had this much story to them. I knew that they started from an art piece that a blizzard artist brought into work to celebrate the birth of his daughter, which then turned into an April fools joke that the community got upset about, but I thought that beyond that Chen would be just a reference until the Pandaria expansion. Very interesting, I'm getting those comics for sure.
I really wonder why Lili is still a child. She was a child when we first met Nomi in Pandaria and now in BFA she is still so small but Nomi is all grown up xD I wonder if Lili maybe suffers from dwarfism :P
plueschtier79 I blame it on the limitation of Pandaren children model, perhaps Nomi was like 12/13 in MoP and has grown significantly these year as a teenager while Lili is a child growing into an older child.
Chen Stormstout is one of the most important character in Warcraft 3, he played a major role in the Founding of Durotar by helping Rexxar, but in the current story line its seems that he only play a minor role.
Haven't played it in a while, but I mained Chen in Heroes of the Storm. It's so satisfying watching the whole enemy team unloading their cooldowns on me and I'm just standing there, drinking, barely taking any damage. Also, flying-kick-ing to land behind the enemy healer, popping the Barrel ultimate, then pushing the healer back for my team to kill. Also, standing in the line of fire of an enemy Nova trying to snipe my teammate. Also just body-blocking an enemy from escaping my teammates' ults. So many fun things you could do with this Bear in a hat.
I picked Horde for my pandaren monk during MoP to honor the friendship between Chen and Rexxar. I haven't played that character since. I might dust it off, if we get the pandaren heritage armor at some point.

Daelin 10 pints later : "If you think yere betther than me.. y-you have another thing commin".. *Daelin wobbling around clearly drunk trying to hold his weapon and point it at Chen* Chen : *raises his eyebrow and proceeds to knock the Admiral out cold with a precise strike* "Can't handle your brew huh ?" Afterwards they let Daelin rest in a house nearby with a big keg of water next to his bed. There's a note strapped to the top of the keg saying : " It is important to master the brew and not let it master You. And drink a lot of water. -Chen Stormstout"

I was thinking if you could make a series with introductory lore, for players who don't want WoW spoilers but would like to have an idea about what they should know as a starting player (such as your regent, the most recent events, your nation/tribe's current relationship with the others). It could be something like "Lore you should know starting as a Human in WoW Classic", or "Lore you should know starting as a Bloodhoof Tauren", and such. It would be very handful to roleplayers who want to learn the knowledge their character should already have, without being spoiled of the mysteries that the game itself will reveal to us. If you can consider the idea, it would make my day!
