Thank you so much for sharing your journey! I like so many other women was so nervous and your videos helped me mentally prepare leading up to my procedure. It has only been four days since my surgery with 19 fibroids removed the biggest one measuring 13CM and I am already walking and have hit all of the most difficult milestones IYKYK! 😂😂😂Ladies I would recommend challenging yourself to walk after your procedure. Make a routine that works best for your body and you will be glad you did later on. For example something as small as doing a few laps around your bed is a great way to start. Yes it is going to difficult and yes you will have challenges but remain strong there is glory waiting for you on the other side. Oh yes and get some Gas X and some high quality stool softener that won’t cause you to cramp as much(Colace worked for me almost instantly with adding in walking after my meals). Good luck ladies you got this! ❤

It gets better, hang in there! I felt almost completely normal at week 4. My incision is still hard underneath the skin and I’m on week 9. Touching the incision often has helped the feeling come back and the weird sensations to stop. I assume it helps the nerves somehow.
Hey!!! I really appreciate this comment! It’s week 3 and I thought I was 100% but some days I’m back at 80% lol. I definitely have been touching my incision and kind of massaging the area every now and again to see if that helps! With this comment, I know to continue to do so! Wow! you are strong. I am 3 wks post op now. At 2wks I was still in so much pain.
Definitely a tough recovery!!! But it gets better with time ❤️
I am not walking like her. Tomorrow is going to be interesting and I'm still so swollen and bloated.

I thought it was just me. She said driving. I can barely walk for more than 3 min

I'm exactly 1 week post opp, have my stitch removing appointment tomorrow I hope it won't be bad. I can walk just feeling it when I stand up but getting there
Hello. I am almost week three in 2 days and I’m still uncomfortable. I just got over gas that lasted for a week. I still have cramps, and spasms. I’m walking fairly good but still at a semi slow pace. I went for my 2 week post op and the doctor removed the surgical tap (no pain) thank God from that. He said I’m healing fine and he will see me in 4 weeks. I’m still unable to drive as he said drive in about 4 weeks. I had 9 fibroid tumors removed from my uterus with 5 different incisions around my uterus due to the fibroids being scattered all over. My fibroid tumors were the size of oranges, lemons, limes, and some the size of quarters. I still feel numbness around the outside of incision. I have 4 more weeks together for recovery and pray that everything continue to go well. The pain is real though. 🙏🏾

I've been watching your videos because you have the most comprehensive information that I can find. I have to have an open myomectomy soon for some very large fibroids. I REALLY appreciate how much thought and effort you've put into your videos. It's helping me to make some really important decisions about the next few months of my life. Seeing you up and moving around during week 2 is EXTREMELY encouraging. When did you feel ready to return to work? I'll also be watching your videos about pregnancy!
