I was asked by many to make them the way they are made now. A lot of people like the clean slick look, myself included. When I get to the nitrided chromoly brakes the caps with either be knurled, fluted, or a hex.
Just received your two piece brake for my 7mm WSM. Its sweet ,of course you already know that. But there is no flat spot to attach a 15/16ths wrench, so I did it by hand. Feels dang tight, will that ?work
Muzzle Brakes and More thanks. My ports didn’t line up right when i screwed it on, so I wasn’t sure what to use to back it off a quarter turn, but keep it tight.
I don't have a video for the installation of the one piece brakes. They are fairly self explanatory. You use a crush washer or shims and time the brake with the writing with the correct orientation.
Nathan, just received my Beast II today. Very impressive machining skills. I will recommend you to my buddies. Thank you.

The cap for tightening should have some knurling on it.

There are wrench flats at the front of the brake but not on the cap. If it doesn't move then your good doing it by hand.
Shot it yesterday , it’s far superior than the PVA brake I wish I never bought . Thanks for an awesome product
Glad to hear you like it and your welcome.
There should be a flat on the front of the brake itself. If there isn't then you can use a strap wrench but there should be on all of them.
Been looking at your brakes. Building a 28 nosler rifle. What would you recommend?
Is there a video for installation of the one piece Lil Beast 4 Port?
I don't have a video for installing a 1 piece brake. Most people use crush washers, shims, or a gunsmith to time them.

@@chipdavis1 For the 1 piece brakes you need shims or a crush washer to time it if you don't have a gunsmith install it.

How many foot pounds of torque having trouble keeping my break tight
If your having trouble keeping it in place use a small dab of blue Loctite on the barrel threads. Don't put any on the cap threads.
What od is the barrel and the of of the brake?
The barrel is .700" and the brake is 1.01"
