25 Minute Lower Body Dumbbell EMOM Workout [ADVANCED Strength Training]

- Tap in with us for a 25 Lower body Strength Workout.🔥 The format of this workout is EMOM style which stands for "every minute on the minute". We will designate a certain amount of reps at the start of each exercise and then once completed, the remaining time left within that minute is your rest period. We highly recommend using multiple pairs of weights if you have them, otherwise you may need to adjust the reps (Juice used 25lb dumbbells and Toya used 10lb -15lb dumbbells). We've included a workout guide within the video to help you modify the workout if needed.
This workout will target your quads, glutes, calves and hamstrings through 12 different exercises. Be sure to track your progress over time with this workout and challenge yourself to increase weight or resistance over time. Week 2, Day 1 [01/05/23]; Workout completed!
After doing the workout I realized this week the focus was on eating healthy, and I must confess that not even my breakfast was healthy, gonna change that tonight.
Listen to me, if you want to do a you vs you, EMOM's workout got you, it was challenging, fun and rewarding. Already looking for tomorrow's workout.
Day 1 Week 2 Summer Ready Challenge 🔥 An EMOM style workout is a new experience for me. I felt a bit rushed to do things and was not sure if my form was correct but hopefully it's just because it's my first time - will pay more attention to the details tomorrow onwards. For today's nutrition I decided to try a dragon fruit and include it into my lunch (and later into my dinner!) I have never tried dragon fruits prior to this, despite the fact that they are very easy to find in Indonesia. Taste is unfamiliar so it's a bit strange to me but I know it's good for my body and even also for chakra balancing! I think for tomorrow I'm gonna challenge myself and try salak, another local exotic fruit in my country 😃
I might be the only one that criticizes the workout, but it's just a lot of exercises that aren't that effective with complicated forms. I loved your upper body workout because it has the basic and most effective exercises.

Not a fan of lower body on it’s own but managed to complete it. Couldn’t do the hamstring walk so decided to do 10 sit ups holding one weight. Think that mod works out pretty good! 😄
2023 Summer Ready Challenge
Week 2 - Day 1
I’m honestly scared about how sore I am going to be tomorrow. I always dread leg days, but when there is a leg day an arm day (my favorite) shortly follows. 🙏🏽 I can only hope that by the end of this challenge I don’t dislike leg days anymore. 😔

Just finished this workout for the summer challenge!! 🥵 Had some tension in my lower back so I did have to pause just a couple times. I went up on weights this week from 10 to 15. I didn’t know if I was going to be able to do 15s but I used them for most of the workout, all but one exercise.💪 Excited about that! Going to try and drink more water this week, and work on my nutrition! 👍
It's the second round for me. I tried to test my strength and it almost killed me. I ran out of breath when and I'm still not finished with the full reps. I guess I need to take it slow😩
WOW! Did this yesterday evening and I have that good burn going on today...those reverse lunges with deadlift really did it. Loved it! Thanks guys!

WOW that was something else - I had only done one of y'all's older EMOM workouts, but this was killer!! I was struggling with mobility the most on round 2, so definitely shows me I need to work on opening up those hips/hip flexors.
Great session! My challenge this morning is workout while my out of town visitors are having breakfast. Working it. I used 15#, could probably go up. Need to buy more weights or get stronger than juice and use my 35s.
2nd time around on SRC, I really like this one. 2nd set is hard, I like the moves in the 1st set. Still using 15s because I'm trying to find a used pair of 20s. Kind of glad to use 15s once more. Maybe by the time I finish the 2nd time around, I'll have a pair of 20s, so I'll have to do SRC a 3rd time.

SRC W2/D1 I thought I could follow up with the body weight option after this. I was wrong. This is my second time doing this workout and it’s pretty challenging! I used 30 pound dumbbells on everything except the single leg DL/reverse lunge. My legs are beat! Definitely gonna be refilling my water cup all day. 🔥

Nutrition challenge… beginning with a protein shake, lunch will be a salad which means today will be veggie prep so we actually eat them.
Week 2 Day 1 2023 Summer Ready Challenge!!! This was different. I really felt the workout in my legs. I've always wanted to try the EMOM style workout and glad I got a chance to do so. This was challenging trying to keep up with the count of reps and maintain the correct form. For nutrition I will work on calculating my TDEE and adjusting my food accordingly for muscle gain in the hopes to lose body fat as well (here comes the trail and error 🙃). I do get sluggish around 2pm, so I will pay attention to what I eat to give me energy to keep pushing through the day.
I totally goofed up the lunge/deadlifts in group 2 but fixed it for the second set. Worked a up a serious sweat. This will be a regular in my lower body workouts! Loved it!
SRC W2D1: Phew! This one pushed me as I went with 25#s. Those lunges and single leg deadlift was 🔥!!! Actually boosting my calories this week as I don't think I was eating enough in previous weeks. Getting all my protein and water regularly! Adding in a few hundred calories with yogurt & blueberries or cottage cheese frozen dessert. Yum!! Love you guys! 😊
This workout was awesome! I thought it was a great way to start week 2. Now, I’m off to start my day with a whole lot of water in my future.

Week 2 day 1 complete! Legs were jello by the time the hamstring curls came. Nutrition goals are drinking more water and increasing my protein. I got a 32 oz bottle because those gallon sized ones were overwhelming to look at.I want to drink 64 oz not including my protein shake and less coffee. I also want to aim for 100g of protein.

So, this was a great workout. When focusing on my nutrition, one change I'll make is to stop eating honeybuns and drinking energy drinks. Every time I'd go to the gas station to fill up the cars I'd go and buy and consume two (and sometimes 3) of the processed packaged honeybun and chase it with your favorite energy drink. Of course I knew it was bad for me but I think it was really stress eating (a whole other thing). Oh, and did you catch the plural on cars? I was doing this two to three times a week 😩...welp. #timetochange

week2Day1 switching to the youtube program, used 7.5Kg dumbbells. Had only a few seconds to rest on some exercises, was challenging but made it through. Had a nice meal with small portion of meat, two eggs, panned tomatoes, cauliflower, and pasta, with small peace of cheese.
Started the workout with 20lbs dumbbells to challenge myself then towards the end had to go lower to 15lbs my hands were shaking next time I'll use some gloves. My food for fuel: 2 slices of Turkey bacon, 2 scrambled eggs with 1 toasted bread.

Having trouble with my lower back, i dont know what i did wrong this time..could it be the glute bridges? I feel it more when i do those.
Loved it! Had to modify some but it was great. SRC W2D1 done! This week I am choosing fruit over the salty snacks and more water!
This was a fabulous workout, just what I needed to get back at it after sometime away. My legs were shaking and on 🔥🔥.

Really enjoyed this workout. I'm a huge fan of EMOM format workouts. I added on the 25 min Arms and Abs EMOM for a fullbody strength day. As far as diet, I'm working to add appropriate amount of protein to my diet. Thanks for the guidance in the video link for week 2.
my legs are seriously considering mutiny.... this workout is the bomb!! for today's nutrition I lugged four water bottles to school and ditched the chocolate brownies. 😥 If I can do it, so can you... we got this!!!💪💪💪
Last week I used 5lb dumbbells and the only other ones I have are 12lb 😳 I used mostly the 12lb dumbbells because I wanted to challenge myself. The 5lbs were too easy when I started. This workout really got me sweating! Today I’ll focus on steaming veggies and cutting some fruit I have in the fridge to snack on rather than reaching for a bag of popped ruffles 😂 So far so good thanks for the workout Juice and Toya ❤
SR 2023 W2D1: I like that the workouts aren't too long. This was short but effective. I may try to lift a little heavier on the square next time on at least one set to see how if I can manage it. I'm also trying to track my water consumption in Fitbit. I'll probably do a walking workout later to get my steps in for the day.
Phew leg day to start the week off?! Did my strength training beforehand and then hit this EMOM. I was feeling it, but it always feels nice to get leg day out of the way. I decided to challenge myself and end the last exercise as a finisher and go 22 reps for the whole 60 seconds. Feeling good 😤
WEEK 2 - DAY 1 - SUMMER READY CHALLENGE: 🔥 workout! The lunges get me every time. NUTRITION: Today I went to Trader Joe’s and got LOTS of groceries. Tonight was my end of the school year party and I am proud of myself for a small slice of cake being the only sugar I had today 😁 it was hard to restrict, but I did it and I feel great!!

SRC 2023: Week 2 Day 1 I really enjoyed this lower body circuit, it was challenging but enjoyable at the same time. I will work on getting half of my body weight in ounces of water throughout this week. I got in 48 ounces today, short still of my goal water ounce weight.

W2D1 SRC’23. This is a great workout! I did it for the first time just prior to the challenge starting. This time I increased the weights I used. It slowed me down a bit compared to the first time I did it, but I’m glad I stuck with it. My goal this second week is to increase weight on some of the exercises or the whole workout like today. Week 2 Day 1 finished - this one is tough for me! I changed my diet to low carbs, no sugar, and cut out dairy. I’m already seeing changes, so I hope as I keep doing this challenge I’ll keep seeing more changes and get stronger! Thanks for keeping me motivated!! ♥️
