    Intermittent fasting is the best. I used to do it without even knowing. Back then i was just so busy with school, work, internships, mothering, etc that i skipped meals without even realizing it. My body was always toned and slim eventhough i wasn't working out. Now i'm a new mum again; 3months postpartum. I'm back doing IF and i feel great!! The weight is falling off!😊

    You are 1 in a trillion cuz the mojority of people don't keep the weight off. I have lost weight 2x in my life & have gained it back. What I have learned from these 2 setbacks is the first time I went from changing from a eating plan that consisted of low carb to a vegan lifestyle. This vegan lifestyle had to many carbs for me. The second time was a change in jobs that caused increased stress. Stress causes insulin to be released & for me to affected the balance in my system. The second time I gained back back half the weight. I know this will be the last time as for some of us it takes longer to get it off. I feel all of us are concerned with health & the increase with other diseases when it comes to carrying too much weight. Thank you Dr. Nina for your channel as you are very practical.

    My husband has done IF for years. When I started my new job this year I naturally started eating my first meal later. I always do fasting workouts in the morning. I did IF (not strict) and felt good. Lost weight too. Then started to follow a weight loss program and resumed eating earlier in the day and not feeling as good. I will resume IF 16:8. Thanks for another great video.

    Your skin isgorgeous!! I meant to say that on one of your other videos when you were mixing up some type of oils and rubbing it on your thighs!! I don't know what you did to not have loose skin but you are super fortunate!! I feel like I would be mixing up oils all the time if I had a chance to have pretty skin like yours! The one thing I kept on NOT hearing though in terms of intermittent fasting was what you could and could not drink during . I had to listen to dr. Ian podcast to hear. I wasn't sure if you could only drink water or what. He is all about even eating clean while you are on the program to maximize benefits. Some people have a real gift for motivating people, and you have that! I'm new to your channel and really appreciate you 😊😊❤️

    I kid you not...last night when I was looking up Intermittent Fasting Videos, I thought of you! Then you popped up with this today! 😁💗 that makes me smile! I’ve been doing 16/8 (on & off) for the past 2 years. Lately I’ve been ridiculously hungry during my fast so I remembered in your past video you said sometimes you have one of your juice powders. I drink water and Zevia, but lately that hasn’t been cutting it. So I was interested in what things I could have during that time without hindering my results and here you are with a friendly and helpful reminder! Thank you as always, beautiful brown baby doll Dr. Nina! 😍💗

      I like to make a low calorie green juice and have that. Some greens, cucumber, celery, ginger, lime juice and blend in water or green tea. I may add half a carrot to two servings; possibly some berries or a kiwi. No more than 25 calories a serving overall so you don’t break the fast.

      Whyt Gothk stop eating about 2-4 hours before your bedtime then count back those 8 hours. So if you go to bed at 6am stop eating at about 3. Count back 8 hours that would be 7pm. So you eat from 7pm to 3am. But you can do any time as long as you fast 16 hours. I change my hours depending on my schedule

    I can really use this video. I have to have Gallbladder surgery and my doctor says if I can loose some more weight I can probably avoid the surgery. I don't want to get cut again, I have a extremely ugly 9 in vertical scar on my stomach and my new doctor says that the laparoscopic surgery may not be an option for me if thier is scar tissue. He says he may not be able to use my existing scar which means a vertical incision. I hoping I can get some more weight off by using this intermittent fasting method.

    I wouldn't mind intermittent fasting from 11am- 7pm & 6am morning workouts HOWEVER my challenge is working out on an empty stomach makes me feel really nauseous. 🤢

    • @BeautifulBrwnBabyDol
      @BeautifulBrwnBabyDol  5 лет назад +1

      ThoroughbredDiva I started off that way and had to ease in with a light amount of carbs with a little sugar before the workout. For me, that helped.

      @@BeautifulBrwnBabyDol .....right a light snack works but it breaks the fast though? Did you shift your fasting window or you don't fast doing early morning workouts & a snack? Thanks for replying btw.

      @@ThoroughbredDiva I think even if you ate some pb or protein shake or a banana before workout, then not eating until noon, it would benefit you more than whatever breakfast you may currently eat. It's different ways to fast I read somewhere that you are still in fasted state under 50 cal which is about 1 small egg or apple

      That was me, i would have to have a little snack, low in calories. Yes its breaking the fast, but u wana listen to ur body & ease into it. Now i work out on an empty stomach & it has no effect on my performance or how my body feels. It takes time. You'll get there

      @@BeautifulBrwnBabyDol oh I I know all about BMR. And I would need at AT LEAST 1600 calories just to maintain my ideal weight of 120 at 5 foot 3. That's not including calories spent on exercise. So I would need more like 2000 to 2100 calories per day to make sure I'm getting all the nutrients I need to fuel my workouts. Especially as a vegan you need more calories because whole foods just aren't as calorically dense as animal by products. I know because I struggle to get enough calories and then I just don't have the energy to workout everyday like I want to.

      @@taryn.b Good stuff! I was shocked how much I was eating when I started loosing weight. Sometimes upward of 2500 cals. I was WAAAAAY over with NO exercise. Lord!
