Just fixed the same problem on mine. Didn’t need to take apart. Reach in and flick up all the ink cartridges so the are partially free from holder. Slide cartridge along (it should now be free) Secure cartridges again You can now push the ink reserve tray back if needed Close lid (you will get an error) Turn off power switch on front first!! Remove power cord at back AND WAIT 15 sec NO LESS Plug in power and turn on printer Should now be working.
Great video. Here what i found to be the problem with that sled that you moved back and forth. INK. Seems that overtime ink splatters on the rail that sled slides on causing that piece to stick and not move back in time to clear the cartridge holder. I used a flat tip screw to scrape off the ink and Q-tips soaked in alcohol to wipe the rails clean. The more you do an auto cartridge clean the more you may have to clean the rails.
Hello, I was desperate because I changed the ink(s) and the cartridge got blocked. This is the only video I found about HP 3520. Lots of thankssssss!!!!! Zany- Barcelona- 22/10/2020
Hi Mr Valdez. I found the same printer a while back and had print prob with the black ink but I saw other videos on that. So I just wanted to say thanks for the video. You don't know if you don't try and being veteran CHEAPSKATE!!, I'll hope I can fix it til I really can't. So I'm going to try and clean that ink overflow. I'll get back to you! Thanks again.

If you get failed in repairing, why you are still uploading on youtube? Just wasteful of time in watching
