So, HP Printer Support... any idea? I live in Hoorn, Netherlands. Can you please find me the closest HP technical support if there aren't any other solutions?
***** Ok. Of course I did that and followed all the next steps trying to find a solution. My 'Carriage Jam' Error continues. What I was asking is if you know the reason why my carriage don't move on this step. I think this is the 'source' of the error that don't let me use the printer. Is this the first time, for you guys, that this situation happened to someone?
Carlos Rochinha This is not the first time what you have it called a Carriage Jam and when it is severe enough you as it is with your by what you have said you need to contact our Technical Support. Hello, I have a problem with the printer. I keep getting the carriage jam message while there is 100% no paper jam in the printer. I follow the video and check several time but my printer is still not working. I just recently bought this printer exactly 1 month ago. Please help me!
I have a question. My printhead slams back and forth like it does not know where it is at. I see that there is a plastic strip off one side inside of the printer. Is that some sort of positioning reader for the print head? If it is, how do I go about putting it back on? It's no longer under warranty.

I have followed all the steps up until 3:59 where he manually moves the carriage across. Mine however won't budge, if I pull any harder I fear it will break. Is there a solution to this problem?

I have an HP Officejet 4620e. I have the "Carriage Jam" issue. There is no paper located on any of the gears, etc.... I have tried everything and the message still shows up in the display and it will not allow me to print. I am mechanically inclined and was about to take the printer apart however I can see the path both the paper and the carriage takes and both are clear. I can hear the carriage move when I reset. I have reset the printer several times as well as reinstalled the ink cartridges. It almost seems as of it is a driver glitch or something. John
