Whisky.com reviews the Hendrick's Gin. Hendrick's Gin has been made in small batches since 1999. Two different stills distil the brandy: in the Bennet Still, the botanicals are also steeped, while in the Carter Head Still they release their flavor through an aroma basket. The main components of this smooth gin are cucumber and Bulgarian rose petals. In addition, master distiller Lesley Gracie also adds classic fruits and spices such as juniper berries, orris and angelica root, coriander and cumin seeds, orange and lemon peel, yarrow, chamomile and elderflower and cubeb pepper.

Being from South America, the first Gin I ever had was the Bolivian "La República", which was very intense, with a lot of spices and a strong bouquet, then I tried the ubiquitous Beef Eater London Dry. I found the latter much more "drinkable" (read lighter and livelier), now that I'm about to finish that bottle, I'll try this Hendrick's as I've heard a lot of good comments about it. Can't wait to try it!

Hendrick's is interesting for a change of pace, but my go-to gin remains Bombay Sapphire - it just makes a nice, refreshing gin and tonic. With a twist of lime, it's the perfect warm-weather cocktail.
Great review. Would be cool to see some other Gin reviews such as Empress.

I've tried everything but still keep coming back to cranberry juice cocktail, strained through -20C ice before drinking it out of a 5oz. beaker for some reason.
Smells like cologne, taste smooth
How small can small batch really be when this stuff is sold in every bar/supermarket and off licence the world over?
That being said, I’m 40yrs old and never tried gin before (I’m a tequila guy mostly, Fortaleza, Gran Orendain etc…) but recently tried Hendricks gin, and found it quite pleasant to sip neat (over ice).
