That would be pansexual not bisexual. 😅
@@grahambrake5495 no doesn't bi and pan have only small differences first off bi is mostly with preferences where pan just isn't but you can have no preferences as bi as well so it's mostly just what you identify yourself with. Bi means you are attracted to more than one gender and pan is more like you don't have preferences and you are attracted regardles their gender it's a little complicated but hope this helps you undersand it better!
@@Creative_mess4 they way she said it fits your description of pan sexual though
@@grahambrake5495 it's really just about what they identify as so who knows
The sad thing is, I have a female friend who came out as bi and a lot of people supported her, but when I came out as bi (me being a guy) sure I got support from friends, but got a lot of hate from people too, compared to my female friend. She never got any hate (at least not publicly) but people would comment saying I was a f*g and all this stuff. So for any males out there who are coming out as bi or gay, just stay strong, someday it’ll be more accepting as bi and gay dudes.
That's why I try to be careful who I tell
Sending hugs 🫂😊
Men really shouldn't announce it (generally speaking). I am myself 80% female and 20% male preference being bisexual. Although I am not afraid to answer people directly should I consider them to be genuine. I would certainly not announce it to the public or entertain the curiosity of trolls, phobes or extended acquaintenances (just ignore them completely) it's none of their business. Men are more generally respected for staying cool, calm and collected. Be comfortable with who you are just remember we'll never be celebrated the same way women are celebrated.
You’re coming out story sounds messed up! I’am sorry you weren’t so supported by everyone like your friend! I also tried gay sex when I was in my teenage days! This might sound weird! But my cousin and I started a sexual relationship together! I enjoyed it so freaking much! Then with my friend! I enjoyed that connection more with my cousin! I actually miss that with him! And gay sex! I did get married and he did too! I miss having sex with a guy! That’s probably why I got married I couldn’t find that connection again !
@@geno5169 Your story isn't weird in my opinion. I believe the type of incestuous relationship you describe is much more common than most will ever admit.

I am legit confused on what I am...really. I feel like I'm straight but i do get attracted to some girls too. I think for now since I am still figuring out who I am that I wont put a label on myself. I'll just be "curious" for now and see how it goes 🤷♀️👍
edit- I completely forgot I had this comment on here until I got a notification from a reply. I was bi then pansexual last year and now I am straight again due to my beliefs. I hope y’all are all finding yourselves 🤍 and good luck to anyone out there figuring out their sexuality.

Yea I’m so confused, especially since I think I’m romantically attracted to only boys and sexually attracted to mostly girls but like a liiiittle bit boys, but I’ve also never been attracted to a girl irl. And since the attraction feels different my brain just keeps thinking “what if you’re not actually attracted to boys? Were you just pretending?” But like I’ve def had crushes on boys but l feel like I’m faking it ughh
I was pressured into questioning my sexuality by my ‘friends’ two years ago now. Since I was ashamed of having a crush on anyone (childhood stuff I won’t get into) I thought I was asexual/aromantic. Now I’m so entrenched in it, I’ve noticed myself immediately shut down any romantic/sexual feelings about anyone.
One of my bisexual classmates would always stereotype people on what they would wear and what music they liked. I felt like I couldn’t talk to her about my sexuality because I didn’t cuff my jeans and I didn’t watch victorious as a kid.
Also my so-called friends at the time gave me the wrong definitions of bi, pan, ace etc. The label ‘bisexuality’ just feels rights, as you said, and since 2020 I’ve been seeking out bi content on the internet. Most of my friends are lgbtq, and my family is mostly accepting, but if I’m not ready to come out to myself, how can I come out to them? As for gender, I’ve always felt quite comfortable identifying as a cis (y’all it autocorrected to customer 😭) girl, and no other pronouns feel right. I know pronouns don’t always equal gender, but yeah. I’m so fucking confused, about sexuality mostly.
Wow that felt good to get off my chest! Whenever I have these talks it’s always about someone else.
Update: I ordered a bi flag off of eBay in the middle of writing this comment, and I definitely feel more confident as identifying as bi. Still not going to bother coming out, as there’s no real pressure to, I guess. I can identify how I feel right now, I can always change my label later.

This was really helpful. I'm a 29 year old woman, and I didn't understand my own attractions until I was 25. I had spent years seeing other women as attractive, but genuinely thought it was something all women experienced- or that I was just saying it to get the approval of my male friends. I've also never dated a woman, so it took me a long time to reconcile that lack of the experience doesn't mean the feelings aren't real. I mean: how does anyone know they're straight before their first kiss? They just know. Just like I just know now
i have realized i was bisexual about four years ago. ever since then, i've been discovering my gender identity and i now identify as a genderfluid bisexual.
the way i feel around men is the same way i feel around women. they give me butterflies, they make me feel nervous (in a good way), all of that love and romance stuff!
i have experienced a lot ever since i came out as bisexual on the internet. but, it has been genuinely humiliating because people on the internet are trying to ignore the problems and biphobia bisexuals receive. we're starting to get less representation. we're being viewed as sterotypes (etcetera) unlike other sexuality's and it hurts.
i'm tired of people saying that bisexual people don't exist and i'm tired of people saying that all bisexuals just want attention. these things that people say make me feel that im lying to myself. they make me feel that i'm lying about my own sexuality, which i'm really not. i literally can't control these emotions i feel towards towards both (and more) genders.
i'm so mentally drained from non-bisexuals speaking over us.

Hey to anyone reading this. I don’t know about the rest of you but after watching this I had a mental breakdown about my own identity crisis. I didn’t recognize myself but then a funny little thing happened to me. I saw my headphones sitting on my desk after I looked for them for an hour. Anyways I’m happily listening to music now and I hope the rest of you reading this know that whatever and whoever you are, you can’t live a happier life if your not being true about yourself to yourself.

Ever since I was very little (about 7) I have always thought about liking girls, I used to watch vines created by a lesbian and thought to myself "That would be fun, liking women." How to be 100% sure that you're bi:
-you have had a crush on a guy at least one time

Edit: just to clarify, not just crushes, any attraction to both genders
Ur just joking right cause ive literally only ever had a crush on one guy he became my boyfriend then we broke up and i ve been questioning my sexuality for 2 yrs now, this year more then ever
tho one thing to remember!! comphet does exist (it's something lesbians experience where they think theyre attracted to men and force their feelings because society expects women to like men) and its incredibly common, so make sure to think "did i have a GENUINE crush on a boy? did i have a GENUINE crush on a girl?" and make sure the crushes are real/obtainable, lesbians crush on fictional boys or celebrities because its impossible for them to ever date them.

Under the bi bracket falls bisexual, bi-curious, pansexual, polysexual and omnisexual. I recently discovered that I identify as omni-sexual. I am attracted to all genders but the differences in gender expression has a significant part to play in why I am attracted to the person - unlike a pansexual person who is 'gender-blind' as some would categorise it. Either way, I find it so empowering to find a label that I know is me. Bi-sexual didnt feel right as my label but pansexual didn't fit either because my attraction is not gender blind - so I am comfortable saying I am an omnisexual woman! I hope more people learn about the subcategories within the varying LGBTQIA+ labels and that more awareness is brought to the bi, pan, poly and omnisexuality community in the near future!
I know im young, i know that people will think that my phone has made me like this and its just a phase, i know i havent even kissed anyone before, but i know that i like girls and guys. (coming out yAY)

I've been married to a man for 4 years in a completely monomagous relationship. Recently I've come to terms with the fact that I've been attracted to just as many women as I have men throughout my life. My first time falling in love was with a girl, my best friend (cliche I know) and my second time was my guy. We've been having a dry spell in the bedroom and I kinda just worked out why and told him. I don't want to open the relationship or be with anyone else sexually, but it just felt right to be totally honest and be understood and loved in return. It's been weird but this video really helped me reaffirm that telling him was the right choice to make. So thank you.
one of your points really stood out to me, the one where the woman in the clip said

hi, i'm a 13 year old girl who's confused, and i felt like sharing my story here, so i can feel like I'm talking to people with the same struggle as me. growing up, my parents and society told me that liking a guy was the only type of relationship I could have. but when I reached middle school, i began to realize that liking another gender was possible. i began to sense attraction to girls through kpop groups, tv shows, and even in person. i struggled a lot back then, but I kept it all to myself. then this year, i had many mental breakdowns all throughout the school year, with friends and bullies, and I talked to my parents about my struggles. it took me a lot of time and self preparation for me to say the phrase "i may like girls" to my family, since my parent told me that they viewed me as a smart and sophisticated girl who would grow up to marry a smart man. i ended up telling them, but I still know they don't believe me. they think its just a phase, and that I'm too young to question myself. my mom is actually homophobic anyway. I'm still not sure where I stand...i've daydreamed about girls, felt like I had a crush on a girl, felt attracted to them, all of those signs. but I may be lying to myself. and I'm still not sure who to trust with this information. some of my "friends" had lied about being bi for a year, when I was questioning, and then said they did it for attention. so I'm not sure who I should share this information with. so I'm just gonna put it here, and get if off my mind. but this video helped me a lot, and I decided to take my time and figure things out step by step. thanks!
Thanks for sharing your story! I’m 13 too, and still figuring out myself!
I don’t think you’re lying to yourself! If that’s the way you feel that’s the way you feel!
I came here because my 13 yo is bi curious. I cried and cried. I wonder what went wrong in parenting. I all the time thought bisexual was when you were born as bisexual, not when you are 13 years old and got a good feeling about your same gender friend and started believing you are bi. I’m still very angry with my daughter. It makes me physically nauseated.
@@hbh4276 I don’t think you messed your kid up. And yes being bisexual is something you’re born with but its also something you have to realize, especially if you’ve grown up being told you can only like people of the opposite gender. You don’t know that you’re bi until you’re old enough to recognize those feelings. So your kid probably was born bisexual and is just only figuring it out now. I know it’s probably hard as a parent if you maybe don’t understand or have a religion or belief that makes you think same gender relationships are wrong. But I do think that it’s important to let your kid explore themselves and to be open and loving towards them during this process, otherwise you’ll probably end up pushing your kid away and then you’ll have different problems.
I relate to the «I feel like I may like girls too but maybe I’m just lying to myself», im 11 and I just don’t know anymore even with this video 😭 I’m still struggling to convince myself and to just say «im bi» lol.
This made me realise I’m bi but I’m to scared to tell anyone
It’s ok! Tell someone who supports LGBTQ+ first so you have someone to go to if your parents don’t accept. I myself am bi and I support you!

Or just tell close friends or If you have any friends in the lgbtq+ community tell them, they will for sure support you. At least that's what I did I literally came out as bi on the first of Jan sooo yea lol and either way I support you guys 🏳️🌈❤❤

I wish resources like this existed when I was younger. It would have been great back in the day. I'm so glad the new generation has greater access to content that can help them navigate the topic of sexuality.

Good question.....
If you’re wondering if you’re bisexual, you’re probably some flavor of gay.
Edit: emphasis on some flavor it can take a while to find something that matches up with your experiences or if you don’t feel like it don’t put any labels at all and say gay or queer (I’ve used those as umbrella terms)
I feel ✨called out✨
😑
Then I think of it I always think later no no I'm not gay, I can't be
i don't know why but whenever i see gay people i always randomly get really happy😂 i think it is the ( possible ) bi in me.
@@barlowsanai8904 same lmao like overly happy
checking in a year later... this is the first am i gay video i watched and i felt all the nostalgia. i am a lesbian, but a year ago i was biquestioning although i had never had a crush on a guy. my friends were very homophobic and hated me, but through this year of self discovery i've managed to get out of that environment. to all the people wondering out there, here's a hug! 🤗❤️❤️❤️
I actually love bisexual people, cause I never met more tolerant people in my life. I never understand, how anyone - ragardless of sexual orientation - could possibly have a problem with them or disregard their orientation.
Because of fear cheating or being abused . Some people fall in love with bisexual person who hurts them and they develop resentment towards them. Also , they spread bad rumours this bisexual peoole. They are undecisive , they are just a phase, they are promiscous , they are narcisists and etc. Regardless of comunities whether religious, professional, and lgbt , you can one particukar who resent bisexual peoole.
the "Not always a 50/50 split" made me so RELIEVED, is one of the things that make me doubt myself the most, and when i first heard that i didnt need to feel the same amount of attraction for all genders, it blow my mind off, and every time i heard it, it just makes me so happy
Same!
Sammmmmeeeeee
I think mine is like 90/10💀 Im sexually fluid with women and honestly sometimes I feel like I just identify with being gay

The end “you don’t have to put a label on or come out until you’re ready” I came out at 15 years old as bi. And everyone in my life said “it was a phase” blah blah. I’m fixing to be 30. Around 25 years old my true friends were saying “girl, you’re bi” but because of my initial responses I’ve decided to not label myself. I find men and women attractive. I have been in relationships with both genders. But the stigma still scares me. This video had helped a lot.
My whole thing started when I was sure of a crush I had on a boy in my class, but later on kinda realizing how attractive women can be. I wrote it off as me just wanting to be or look like them, but then I realized I did feel a bit of a pull or attraction towards them. For I while I've just been trying to figure myself out but it's hard to experiment and mingle with girls because of my homophobic family and dating restrictions. I do think I'm bi, but for now I'm not going to put that label on myself
I've been identifying as bi for 4 years now -
RUclips: how do you know if you're bisexual

if you watch this, you are probably most definitely bi
Not exactly....
No😂✌🏼
nope
Nope-
Yes 🥲
Something important that I was confused with for a long time was that if I’m bi even if lean towards one gender more. Like it is okay to not be split 50/50. You can be 60/40 or 35/65. It doesn’t matter. Just wanted to comment in case some of you people are confused as well.
I come back here after almost a year since I first saw this video, and now I finally feel confident enough to say that I’m queer for sure, maybe bi. I surely do like boys and girls, but I might be pansexual, who knows, and that’s why I like to call myself queer. I don’t want to give myself limits and I don’t like to label myself, but the point is that after a long reflection on ourselves, we eventually always come to a conclusion, at this is something I learnt thanks to all my doubts about my sexuality. I know it might be stressful, but I promise you that one day, sooner or later, if you keep thinking and pondering about it, you’ll know who you truly are and what you like, you’ll be ok with it, and you’ll embrace it as the most beautiful thing that you’ve ever discovered about you
When he said Jade and Beck i totally lost it
Im so Bi lol
Beleive or not my sister has victorious on the TV rn and I try my best to hide how giddy I get when they both show on the screen lol
Yes
it hit hardddd
im a 13 year old who is very much confused, every single example that you said described me. now im very sure i am bisexual
The country that I’m from is kind of conservative people are homophobic and racist but mostly homophobic I mean it’s full of white people so when a person of different race shows up people stare but I can’t really call that racist , when I first found out about gay people was when I was about 9 there was this one hella old anime a bl anime that I accidentally saw I still remember the scene so clear two characters were fighting it was raining and a Night time the only light was from the lamp at the background and the taller guy pulled and forcefully kissed the other guy honestly my heart went pafff it was beating so hard and I was confused af I was surprised and keep thinking about it for some time but quickly forgot about it, then when I turned 13 or so I had this phase I thought I was lesbian I was really scared and confused I told my mom and she told me that “it doesn’t matter what you are , how you look like or who you like at the end of the day we all bleed red” I don’t really identify as anything I’m just me plus I’m too Busy reading BL mangas and watching dramas to date lol but I know that even if one day I ended up with a person same or opposite gender it won’t matter, the only thing that matters is that I’m happy being with them and happy with myself as who I am I also have days where I hate myself but working on that for now, I can’t really tell you that you won’t receive any criticism cause that depends on people around you I honestly sometimes forget how homophobic some people are cause I’m mostly with my family and close friends who accept it you know what’s funny it’s funny how most people are ok with it until it has to do with them and people around them I hope you will be happy wherever you are and happy with yourself as a person wish you the best
i relate to this so much
thats meeeee
just ask yourself these questions. 1. Would u kiss a girl AND boy? 2. Would u date a girl AND boy? 3. Would you marry a girl AND boy? If you answered yes to all of them you are bisexual.
@@delenaxstelena4474 looks like I’m bi-
Hey! I really appreciate this video! I've been questioning my sexuality recently and this video definitely helped me. So, let me tell you about myself:
I am a girl and I identified myself as straight. I've never had feelings with other women before (though I don't mind being in a relationship with them) and only develop an attraction towards men. Someone told me that I am "bi-curious" when I mentioned it in a conversation.
But then, there's this girl who appeared in my life recently. She's a transgender woman. When I first saw her, I felt something. It was a crush at first sight (because she's so pretty and sweet).
So I felt conflicted and began questioning my sexuality. Am I really bi-curious like what that person told me? Or am I full on bisexual? Am I bisexual all along?
So yeah... I found this video while I was researching and it definitely helped! I'm... still figuring things out but I just want to thank you!
Also, this is kind of a random weird thing to say but...
... I've recently imagined myself making out with my girl crush and I don't really know what to feel about it
I've been coming to grips with maybe realizing I'm bisexual after just assuming I was heterosexual for all 20 years of my life, and every time I think too hard about it, the thought process just goes:
Me: "But what if I'm faking it and I'm just a straight dude with some exceptions, since I'm not attracted to literally every single male on the planet."
My brain: "It's okay to have a type and feel no romantic attraction to most people outside of that type, since it's not like regular hetero people are literally attracted to every single member of the opposite sex. And being attracted to cute boys but with an overall preference towards girls still counts as bisexual."
Me: " ...I'm gonna pretend I didn't hear that."
literally!!!! i've gaslighted myself so many times just because i'm not attracted to every single female on earth! i hope anyone who reads this realize that sexuality is different for everyone although many people can end in the same label.
Wondering if you are bi?

Lol
I came out as bisexual today and was going through youtube for random videos and this came up. For ages, I had no idea on what I was but knew that I wasn't a hetero. After some time thinking, the thought that "hey I am bisexual" came up much earlier today and that was when I realized it. Knowing that it was one of the signs just made me feel quite happy.
Also when I came out, my stepmom called me a lucky b because I get the best of both worlds (which I admitted that I chuckled a bit realizing that it was true). Only other reason why it took me so long to say something was because I had no idea on how I was going to word it lol.
Thank you so much, this really helped and I am a bit more shur about my sexuality.... but i fear the reaction of my family about this matter.... non the less this video was very helpful and I am (again) very thankful for it. (sorry if there are spelling mistakes, I have a slight form of dislexia)
