    Thanks Paul, great video with plenty to think about. As an (unexpectedly) single guy in his 50's with a military back ground, you've genuinely helped to inspire me to get back to the outdoors and give myself something to look forward to. All the best Buddy, keep going. Dave

    We have been walkers with our daughters since they were two, they are now 11 & 12, we cover on average 9-11 miles each walk. This just adds another element, so thank you. Also gives us a chance to camp instead of taking the caravan.

    Hey Paul. If you are using those straight pegs you can take the rubber stopper from your trekking poles put it over the top and use it to help push the pegs in. It might save your hands a little. Also it saves you from pushing them in with your boot one might go through your boot. 👍😎🇨🇦

Been watching a lot of your back catalogue to get inspiration for solo wild camping and got to say, I'm really chuffed how you've gone from nothing to brands throwing their products at you. Must be a great feeling. And great drone work by the way. Takes your videos to a whole new level. Well done mate

    It may well be psychological, but I need some more convincing that the Steripen really works. Stirring it around in the bottle seems a bit random and I note that you've moved on to a Sawyer Mini Squeeze in other vids.

    First outing in my Soulo this weekend on Kinder. Amazing tent in wet and wild conditions. Held up perfectly. Can’t say the same for my walking boots that started leaking after about 8 years of perfection. Any suggestions for boots that will hold up in Derbyshire peat bogs and rain?

    • @PaulMessner
      @PaulMessner  5 лет назад +2

      Really pleased for you Tom. I knew you wouldn't be disappointed. Boots are a personal preference thing depending on comfort. I use Salomon quest gtx 4 i think they're called. The are really comfortable. They are still waterproof after many uses. If you go to Decathlon they have a 2 year guarantee on all their boots. If the waterproof fails they will swap for a new pair. Keep your receipt of course

    Great video, mate! Definitely gonna try that Tent Meals brand. The main one here in Norway is Real Turmat, but I'm not a big fan, to be honest. How are you liking the Soulo? Recently bought one myself, and I've only used it on a couple of hikes. Loving it, though. :-) - Marius

      Thanks for watching. The soulo is awesome. It was really tested in the wind in my new video. Did you try the tent meals? What did you think?

    I love the drone shots, something that would be interesting to try here in the Pacific Northwest in Washington State. Thanks Paul!

      It does. I dont boil water if I want a cold drink though hence filters or a sterilizer

    out of curiosity how much space is there up top ,do you think you could get a few tents on top ? as I only live maybe 35 mins away and wouldn't mind to wild camp up there myself

    Hi Paul, nice video. Do you experience issues of condensation with your Soulo tent? Many thanks.
