My mom and grandmother would make these when I was growing up. One of my favorite treats. After about 30 years of not having it, a coworker brought some in for Christmas. Talk about a middle aged man becoming a kid again. Brought back many memories. Funny how food can do that.
Just discovered your channel and absolutely love what you are doing here. You are really providing a breakthrough solution for small serving desserts. I am 1 person but big eater 😊 your 1-2 serving is perfect for me. Cant wait to get started...if possible would love ingredient list by weight instead of measurement
Hi, love your channel, have you thought, when calculating/converting your recipes for smaller amounts it will be much easier to use metric grams, your metric gram in USA is the same metric gram In UK and rest of Europe and Australia, lot less fuss weighing on scales than messy cups. Just a suggestion
I discovered these last year at our club's cookie sale/exchange. They are addicting. You can use lite corn syrup and was told that the lite has no high fructose corn syrup neither does Karo corn syrup.
Thanks so much. I am so glad you found me too. I do have two small batch ebooks, one for Easter and one for Thanksgiving, there are links to them in the video description. Working on another one.
Have you ever made capirotada? (pronounced with a rolled R: kah peer doh tah thah) It's a baked Mexican bread pudding with bananas & raisins & maybe other fruit & either a brown sugar syrup or some people use honey; some families put cheese in it but my family never would add cheese. I'd love ❤ to have a small batch version!! (Recently I saw "Simply Mamá Cooks" on RUclips make a cheesy version but it just makes a ton.)
My family has made Scotcheroos for over 50 years. We never use corn syrup, but have always used Blackburn Made syrup. Once you use it, you'll never go back to corn syrup.

I love it when food brings back good memories!
I have always made these with my mom since I was 4 years old
They are a classic!

They are definitely addicting
Hi! I wonder if you’ve done a video for small batch Christmas Crack? Would love to see one this holiday season 😊 Thanks!
I haven't but it's a great idea!
You have saved me so much money and wasted food. Thank you 🙏
I am so glad you are enjoying the recipes!
I’ve made similar with Cocoa Krispie Cereal… I left off the chocolate topping but I’m sure adding it would be wonderful!
The cocoa krispies would be yummy!
I just discovered your channel a couple of weeks ago and I love it! Do you have a cookbook? If not, you should consider it. I’d definitely buy one!

I am not familiar with it but it sounds delish!
I love the videos but I need the printed recipe too!
Unfortunately You Tube doesn't allow printable recipes. Some of the recipes are on my blog where you can print them and I will be adding more soon.
@@LeighAnneWilkes I’m so glad I found someone like me that loves cooking and family.
can you make tandy cake for two?? pls
I have never heard of tandy cake. I'll check it out!

Thanks for the tip - I'm not familiar with that syrup. I'll have to look for it!
It looks like it's corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup and cane syrup with some food coloring.
