FOX has ordered THE F WORD, a bold new food variety show from award-winning chef and series host Gordon Ramsay. Based on his hit U.K. series of the same name, each distinctive and fast-paced hour will combine good food and good cooking with Ramsay’s passion, energy and humor into a one-of-a-kind LIVE series. THE F WORD is scheduled to premiere in 2017 on FOX.
On THE F WORD, foodie families from across the U.S. will battle it out in an intense, high-stakes cook-off. In addition to impressing Ramsay, each team must win over the hearts and taste buds of the diners, celebrities and VIP guests whom they’re serving.
Throughout each hour-long episode, cooking competition meets variety show as Ramsay chats with surprise guests and VIPs in the dining room, hosts live remotes with people from across the country, and appears weekly in unique field segments with fans, foodies and culinary experts.

@@sanskarsingh9538 You ever poach a lobster in garlic butter? That's the only way I'll eat it, which is at home. So soft, not dry, and still dippable in clarified lemon butter afterwards. Totally worth it.
And, let's face it, it's lobster. If you're eating lobster and filet mignon at home, may as well go Louis XIV with it.

So, I'll admit I'm kind of obsessed with this recipe and finally made it, and it was awesome! Believe it or not, the most difficult part is finding the turnips, which I believe are a breed called hakurei. At least, that's what they look like to me. I found the seeds on Amazon and grew them in my garden and had them in about 40 days. Like I said, I'm kind of obsessed. I also got demi-glace on Amazon although you can also make that from scratch I'm told. I assume "poaching in butter" is actually a beurre blanc. So, I used a basic beurre blanc recipe and added saffron. I steamed the lobster until about 70% cooked, then poached the rest of the way in the butter until done. I followed everything else as closely as possible. It was very tasty!

He adds demi-glace, which is veal or beef stock that has been reduced by about 90%. It winds up giving a rich flavor without adding a lot of liquid which would make a sauce runny.
