The peak numbers are decent but the best part is the entire hp and tongue curves. You gained way more then 30 hp in many areas. I see the sane thing with the hellcat airbox and TB you don't see much gains at peak but the entire PowerBand esp down low there's huge gains as well as rpm speed increase
Thanks for the information. I was going to do ported heads and cams on 91 from full blown. But I’m just going to save that and do drop ins and go boosted. I was quoted 5800 for their stage 2 package but not worth the price for only 30hp. Your whip sounds mean!
Fullblown's Stage 2 package uses the Comp Cam. I bought the MMX Max Effort NA cam kit and brought it to them for install. Two different cams, two different horsepower numbers. And thanks man Edit: And if I remember correctly, their stage 2 package is E85 kit as well. I'm on 91 Octane pump gas
@@stillzg Also, FB Stage 2 has ported heads, so more horse power. I am on the fence too between drop in pistons and boost vs Stage 2 kit. Thanks for the pricing on the stage 2 kit.
hey man, i noticed you didn’t mention any upgraded intake manifold… and that’s a big part of upgrading your cam. without proper airflow delivery you’re killing gains and torque. port your 392 intake manifold and you’ll see more power
@@WellWellWellz stock heads already flow very efficiently, i gained a lot doing a ported intake manifold with a 88mm throttle body when i did my camshaft
@@Clutched392 ported BGE heads are where it’s at if you want the most power gained out of an N/A 6.4 build imo. That’s what’s up tho man sounds like you got a good build going!
Thanks man. I am tuned with HP Tuners so I got to figure out how to do all this tune loading. And thanks, great to know that I can do both 91 Tune and E85 and load them back and forth without going to a shop
What is the difference in hp between comp cam and MMX? I live 45 minutes away from Full-blown and will be getting some work done soon and still deciding on boosted/pistons or NA Stage 2.
I honestly don't know. Pretty much 80% of Cammed Mopars out there are using Comp 270 Cams, and peak horsepower numbers don't really matter. What matters most is how these cams perform throughout the entire powerband. Peak numbers are just for bragging rights and a sales pitch. You can probably call and ask Fullblown since they use Comp Cams as part of their Stage 2 package
What do you consider fbo? Full bolt ons= exhaust, intake, and possibly heads/cams. Basically mods outside the motor that are bolted on. You have an intake, throttle body, headers, mid pipes, cams, and porting. That’s pretty much fbo… What else can you just bolt onto the car to make it faster??
I would think an underdrive pulley where the forums say people gain 10-20whp (supposedly) and a larger/aftermarket intake manifold which tbh I think is a waste of money. But yeah good question though, tbh in my experience the only NA mods that actually work with 6.4 Hemis are: Cammed Setup Long Tube Headers Setup E85 Setup All of which requiring a tune
@@AirsoftHemi when i had a z28 a larger intake manifold and throttle body were worth 20+rwhp. I would skip the underdrive pulley if I were you. I heard about that. Tbh I don't know the backstory, but that's another reason why i have no plans on going boosted. The 6.4 hemis are extremely reliable staying NA
