Hi, pretty much like every free trial put there, you'll need to cancel the premium free trial before it ends, or you'll be automatically charged once it ends, and will have the premium paid plan.
😂 most monthly plans are around that price so wouldn't call it insane but, I agree with not with not wanting to pay that, especially if you wouldn't take adavntatfe of the premium features.
