I just got one of these. I wear "old school" analog watches, so I have no need or desire for a smart watch. I did however want something fairly inexpensive, small and light to wear on my other wrist that I can track calories burned and some other health data. This seemed like the perfect price to performance/ wants/ needs for me.

Apparently the calories burned are wildly innacurate on any fitness tracker/smartwatch. Which sucks cause I think thats the coolest feature!

Hey I'm in the same boat! Except I like Casio watches with all the bells and whistles up to, but not being smart or connected.
I'm looking at this myself. I tried the pixel watch but it was more than I wanted to spend and it had more than I wanted in it but I liked the trackers as I love to observe my patterns but I'm rather absent minded.
      How have you liked it?

@@hoodflix7544 Ayyyy, keeping it classy and humble 😎 I did! I have really enjoyed the slim, subtle design. I haven't been wearing it much lately because of the weather but I like to wear it to bed at times to track my habits. Sometimes I will just wear both, one on each wrist lol. But if you can get a decent deal on the Inspire 3 I'd snag it. I don't feel guilty leaving it on the charger for a couple weeks at a time at it's price vs a smart watch.

This is super helpful! I owned the original Fitbit tracker, before smart watches existed. Then I upgraded to the FitBit HR and it wasn't a nice. Eventually I stopped using FitBit all together. Now I want to get back into it! I'm glad to see they still have a model that is roughly the same price as my first FitBit 11 years ago!

I just purchased this, because it’s sleek small and all I want it for is the actual tracker, time and metrics. I didn’t need all that other stuff just wanted something that gave me more accuracy than my phone and small. Also I got a really cheap look alike on Amazon but it didn’t sync with the apps I needed to and this fit bit does! I’m sure I’ll enjoy it more once I receive it but these are my reasonings for purchasing

I bought one and started using it 12 days ago. The first 6 days it tracked my walks just like it's supposed to. Then on Tuesday of this week---no report on the app. It's as if I didn't walk. Ditto for the next two days. Customer support said to reboot it with the charging thing, so I did. That didn't help. Instead of just walking out the door and having it record my walk, I have to struggle with finding the "walk" thing on the watch. Swipe up and down, swipe left and right---it's hard to find. Oh, and yesterday I had over 7,000 steps by late afternoon. When I looked at the watch after supper, it said 1595. So it doesn't do what it's supposed to do and you get no instructions with it. I'm sending it back.

Do you think the step account is accurate? Just started wearing mine but I feel like its been waaay over counting my steps
And I noticed while driving it also added 100+ steps
At the end of the day it said I had over 9000 steps but I feel like I honestly did not walk near that much
Feeling a little concerned about that because this was the whole reason I bought the watch and to keep track of heart rate but im hearing that might not be the most accurate either?

think it guesses distance without phone and isnt as accurate which is a bummer, if you want to run outside without your phone, recommend getting a GPS watch.

What I like is this gives you a little bit more privacy than other “trackers”. No built in Alexa, and GPS connect rather than built in GPS for me at least are pluses, for others that don’t care then it’s likely minus.

Depends on the workout. If you're going on a walk/run outside, the Fitbit will track your steps no matter what. But if you want additional tracking based on GPS, you need your phone. For other workouts (lifting weights, treadmill), you don't need your phone. But you will need to select that option on the Fitbit.
