Fantastic review, was literally sitting on the floor at target watching. Decided to go with the inspire 3 because of the price and simplicity and it honestly feels and looks premium on my wrist. It’s like perfect and it was on sale for 79$ at target. No brainer
best comparison between Inspire 3 and Luxe... And basically you just sold it, I was thinking upgrading from Inspire 2 but in the end I mostly use Fitbit app for food logging and passive activity tracking, so the slimmest/premium looking sensor is the best for me. Thanks.
1:50: great idea. Charging my band while i shower is definitely something I'll be doing now. 😅. 6:00 I love watching your reviews. Very clear, concise and you've got great energy Thank you
Just got my new fitbit 3 days ago I have to say so far it’s been working well love the features. Personally I like the inspires because that’s what I am used to to my first fitbit was the inspire her so I decided to stick what I was used to. At the store I bought it the price was 129$. But I got it for 98$ because it was on sale one dollar cheaper then the price I paid for the inspire hr 3 or 4 years ago. Overall I think I got it for a pretty good deal. Great video btw very well explained well done!
Went to ER with covid and I was wearing luxe. Hooked up to heart monitor/ekg machine. Was running a pulse rate of around 120 most of the night. Luxe wasnt even close to being accurate.EKG said 120 and fitbit reading was 74. Was wayyyy off the whole night. 02 sensor was somewhat more accurate holding steady at 95 while ekg was fluctuating 94-100. Supposedly the apple watch is more accurate.
My first Fitbit watch was a Versa 2. Actually it wasn't bad, but it was a bit big on my tiny wrist. So I ordered a Fitbit Luxe. It was okay for a few months, then it started the periods in between charging became shorter and shorter. I then decided to go with the Charge 5. Unfortunately, I hadn't paid attention to the fact that the things I was mostly looking for were part of the Premium package. There is no way I will be adding over $100. yearly to this already expensive watch. At the beginning I got the same info on my sleeping pattern as I did with the Versa and Luxe. Now I am getting nothing on "Sleep" and I've only had my watch for a few months. I think next time I'll pay a little more and try an Apple Watch. I'm losing confidence in these Fitbit watches and I really hate that they are now adding things in the Premium package. Fitbit is getting a little greedy.
My Charge 2 finally went kaput on me. I'm not super interested in the Charge 5 display screen -- but definitely want to continue researching before deciding. Thank you for comparing all 3!
SKIP CHARGE 5. It's junk, probably rushed to market too quickly. Constantly looses connection, suffers from freeze screen and NO HOME BUTTON . The resets like screen and button on charge cable (they knew of the problem before hand) are only temporary fixes. They come back. I boxed mine and went back to charge 4. Might go to inspire 4 for a upgrade.
Inspire 3 is clearly better than the luxe. $30 cheaper, double the battery life, weighs less, same features while also being a year newer. Only trade-off is it's barely bigger in size to accommodate for a bigger battery.
Getting luxe since it’s currently cheaper than inspire 3! Thanks! I am coming from a whoop so I am going to miss that thorough analysis of my daily sleep recovery.
@@FitnessWithFrost ended up getting the charge 5 since the previous post and have been putting it through the wringer. So far so good in spite of some people claiming short life span of the device.
I have the 5 the gps is a joke the built in kills the battery too fast but even connected to a phone it randomly drops and does not reconnect I have been cycling the phone is literally inches from the 5 and it still loses bluetooth connection and drops gps I heard its because bluetooth and gps antennas are too close. I contacted fitbit showed them all the dropped activities they told me they are aware and to be patient!!!! There is no software fix if the 2 antennas interfere with eachother. I had the inspire 2 and never had this problem I couldnt read the screen in the sun so I thought I would upgrade but thats a jike I hike a lot and need to keep track of miles and the 5 cant do it or I cant rely on it actually working even on dynamic you think it would switch if it loses the phone but it doesnt its a serious problem if you track outside activity
I definitely have heard people with this issue and it is upsetting. I didn't see it in my testing, but at the end of the day this is just a bad design choice
My first 2 were "Charge" and my 3rd is an Inspire. The first two included FLOORS along with STEPS. There is nothing on the Inspire that keeps track of FLOORS! I live in the high Sierra where I walk a lot up and down the hills, and climbing the mountain. Which of these include FLOORS? Thanks :)
@@FitnessWithFrost Ok. Thanks so much for getting back to me. I really liked it! My cousin lives in a 9 story condo so she loves to see how many floors she does a week!
Does inspire 3 have calorie burnt tracker.. like you have set a certain goal to burn your calories and it tells you how much you burned? Pls reply. Thank you!
I got a Fitbit Luxe about 18 months ago. After a year it needed charging more often. Now it's every night as the charging takes much longer. Also for some reason, it is now 3 days ahead. Lately, I've been wearing it for the time ... and that's it. I don't know if I should just toss it and get a new Fitbit (not a Luxe) or is it possible to change the battery?
Hola. Apple watch has one of the most accurate optical heart rate trackers out there

If we are getting Luxe and inspire 3 at the same price through discounts (actually Luxe a little cheaper), which one should we go with?
he said he would favor the Luxe
If you need the extra battery life go with the Inspire. If you would like better build quality and better looking go with the Luxe
It is very good detailed video, but luxe has Bluetooth 4.0 and inspire 3 has 5.1 , is it make difference?
In the end you won't really end up noticing the differences between those two Bluetooth standards. Hope that helps
