This was almost the best video I’ve ever seen for comparison of the two watches. I am just buying a Fitbit charge 6 as a replacement for my Fitbit versa and Fitbit versa. The Fitbit versa 2 barely made a year and a half before it quit working. The Fitbit versa I have had for 5 to 6 years, and would not be buying a new watch if I could find my versa. I was looking for a smaller faced watch when my versa died so I’m just doing it earlier. My wrist is only 6 inches in diameter and I had a lot of negative comments concerning the size of the watch on my small wrist.

Great video, thanks! Looks like the HR monitoring is finally where it needs to be. Being able to use with Peloton is huge for me. I also returned the Charge 5 because the battery would drain in under two days, but Charge 6 battery usage is only drawing down about 10% per day.

Great video, perfect quality of picture, voice, pedagogy, thanx! While watching it I paused the video, made adjustments to Fitbit pay, included a card, activated it, went down to the local market for required purchases, the payment went beautifully with my Charge 5 at the terminal, and here I am home again 15 min later - watching the end of your video. Nice! I also were not fully aware of all details of the activity (gym+running) functionality, look forward to trying these out the next few days. So far mainly used it for steps and sleep. Merci from Oslo, Norway

I have had most fitbits until the Charge 4. I went back to my Charge 2, which has an altimeter, is fully customizable (I see exactly the stats I want to see on my screen - Calories, floors, heartrate and date/time). It greets me when I put it on and has fun messages. I have an Apple Watch but really dislike their health app and it's not customizable in any way. When the Charge 2 gives up, I'll have to hope Google brings back what was good with the original Fitbits. If not, then it's the Apple watch.

Thanks for the video and differences. I am happy with my Charge 5 and get all my more important information from the Fitbit App on my Android phone. I really don't need all that extra stuff the Charge 6 provides. I have no problems charging my Fitbit charge 5. I don't use or need the GPS information for what I do and heart rate info is good enough for me.

The charge 6 will allow you to control Spotify if you enable notifications for the app through your phone. You need to activate the app on the phone but it does open up the control of the app directly to the charge 6. It's not an app directly installed to the charge 6 but it is an option to control Spotify and if you are using earbuds it's a very nice ability to discard your phone and use your Fitbit as a controller. However it does require the phone to be close by but the charge 6 RUclips app is the same in regards to close by requirements to operate. Not much different if you understand how to load up the Spotify que to the charge 6 via notification controller and in regards to the controller feature for indirect access through the notifications you can actually connect and control alot of apps that nobody has been talking about in reviewing. It's just as good as any of the apps on the charge 6 just activate via notification app on the charge 6 and it does require a little bit of getting used to navigating and avoiding dismissing the controlling notification otherwise it will deny the control feature.

Switched to inspire 3 due to wanting sleep info. Have now given that up as the inspire 3 is terrible at recoding Heart rate. I’m going back to Apple Watch. Hopefully they will improve the battery life
