80 hour power reserve is a stand out feature. I’d love to see that as more of a trend with movement manufacturers. Classic looking field watch right here!
Goodman, the most impressive feature in this watch and the one that keeps pulling me to wearing it is its caliber accuracy. I'm not sure if this were a strike of luck or a norm, but it's been running at cosc level ever since I bought it 8 years ago.
I bought it 2 years ago, I used it for nearly a year and then gave it to my cousin. What a great watch. I miss it a lot that is why I search for videos of it from time to time. I hope he is giving it daily usage and not having it inside a box.
Very nice watch and love that strap. Suits it perfectly. I like the day date. Have to say it though. It looks almost exactly like the Seiko 5 SRPG33K1 so if you want a good automatic but the price of the Hamilton is too much, it's a great option for around $250.
Hamiltons are great, but today I enjoyed your video very much, very back to basics, so informative, usefull, enjoyfull and propositive, your best version. Thank you. Greetings.
I’m opting out of these videos as soon as I hear the infomercial thing starting up. If it’s only a video “style” issue, then okay. But, if it’s an actual plug for the watch, then I’m out. I can get the specs from the website.
@@thetimeteller Hi Jory, I know you're not selling the watch. It's just that your new format sounds like a commercial. I miss the old less refined Jory.
I find vintage Hamilton designs more appealing to be honest. I could care less about the power reserve of 80h. The Swatch group could keep the Powermatic 80. Plastic parts and all
Hamilton's lume could always be better and I would prefer if the day-date was moved over removing the 3 O'clock numeral. I'll stick with my original 38mm Khaki Field auto as I think it's great.
I had a Khaki King and I sold it for this watch. I do not regret selling it. I love my Khaki Day Date Auto! I change the bands often for a different look. A lot of bands available for options.
@@lawcane yep I respect your opinion. What my problem is, and this Time Yeller is doing, is that after calling out Hamilton as how sh!tty they are then months later, featured the brand on his channel again. Like it just reeks of what a cashcow he really is than being someone credible in RUclips.
Hamilton hahaha. We have new strong field watches! Titanium! Ha ha! Two days ago, my khaki titanium 38mm goes kaput. Rotor spinning when I manually winding it. Something broke in automatic windings... But we have strong watches...
Who are you and what did you do to Jory? This is what the AI voice emulators would do to a Teddy Baldassarre video if we opted for a "Jory Goodman voice". Super sterile, spec heavy, no personality coming thru. This is the opposite of why I would come to your channel.

damn you most love your cousin
Yes, family is important
I just bought this model. plus a aviation Khaki series with black face orange numbers i love them both

I just bought one, its beautiful. My first Hamilton was a intramatic. Looking forward to adding this watch to my collection.
I have this watch with black dial and factory tan leather NATO strap - it is one of my top 3 favorites!
What is the lug to lug measurement?
Your channel makes me want to collect watches, but I need those steps on the Garmin, I'll never wear any other watch haha.
Wearing a Garmin doesn't give you free steps. You will walk just the same with an adult watch.
I've always wanted a Hamilton and love the look of this watch. Reminds me of a green face Seiko I had years ago.
Where do you finds these for under $500? New is 995eu in West-EU and chrono24 is going to cost you at least 750eu. Missing those connections it seems.

Gotta tell ya Jory, Im not diggn' the Teddy Baldassarre infomercial vibe you've been giving us lately.

@@ethanlareau3970 I agree. I like Teddy, but he's selling his own product. I don't watch Jory for a commercial.
I’m not selling this watch😂

It looks very much like a Timex I had as a kid in the 1970s - about 36mm and date only though.
They said they copied Timex in the video.
I would be interested if it had a threaded crown. Long live the SARB017 as the king of field watches.
Are vintage hamilton difficult to fix? I have all the pieces but the crown I think. Is it expensive?
Crazy how different these videos are from ur ig shorts

It looks very reflective
yeah this is what I mean: you're not gonna buy a Hamilton ever again according to one of your famous video, then here you are with a Hamilton.
Under 500? where? Better than the overhyped PRX I don't like the 42mm size. Are there any in-house Swiss movement watches under 1000?
I know that this is a bigger watch wish Hamilton would make the 39 mm with at least a 46 mm lug to lug or under
Islander Urban Gentry mechanical? The Rangemaster second generation? 320$🤷🏼♂️
This watch is gorgeous, and that day-date window is done to perfection. I'm seriously thinking about trading my Khaki King II in for this.
Khaki King is more dressy, this is way more of a field watch.
I had a Khaki King and I sold it for this watch. I do not regret selling it. I love my Khaki Day Date Auto! I change the bands often for a different look. A lot of bands available for options.
This is the hamilton I want to buy but its $1300 cdn up here in Canada. Thats ridiculous.
Under $500? Where?
Yup - Teddy Baldassarre vibes with a beard
Feels like an ad
I thought you hated Hamilton watches now? You had a meltdown months ago because Hamilton watches fogged or condensed up.
People literally call them Hammys, I hate that

Uhmmmmm…… this is giving super strong Timex …..🤔
But I don't Hamilton's are nice but I would go swc
Quite a vanilla episode.
It feels like this was an episode he was contractually obligated to put out … 🤷🏽♂️
He phoned it in; cash was the catalyst for this blurb.
These are around 700 GBP. Nice clickbait title 8-)
