    People see us everywhere
    They think you really care
    But myself I can't deceive
I know it's only make believe.
    My one and only prayer
Is that some day you'll care,
My hopes, my dreams come true,
    My one and only you.
    No one will ever know
How much I love you so
    My only prayer will be
    Someday you'll care for me
    But it's only make believe.
My hopes, my schemes come true,
My life I'd give to you,
    My heart, a wedding ring,
    My all, my everything.
    My heart I can't control,
    You rule my very soul,
And my only prayer will be
    Someday you'll care for me
    But it's only make believe.
    My one and only prayer,
Is that some day you'll care,
My hopes, my schemes come true,
    My one and only you
    No one will ever know
How much i love you so
    My only prayer will be
    Someday you'll care for me
    But it's only make believe.

Freddie. he gave so much pleasure.to folk round the world.and always will. the World would be a much sadder place without him. millions live and die and no one ever knew they were there.a very special person

Brilliantly funny and sometimes dangerously ott, but many never realized what an amazing voice he had.

In the early 60's Freddie had his own band called the Midnighters and he recorded a few singles for Joe Meek. Ritchie Blackmorewho later joined Deep Purple, (then a session musician and never an official member of the midnighters), played on all of them and said that the Midnighters had supported the Beatles at the Liverpool Empire in 1962 and had blown the beatles off the stage. It's a shame Freddie always played the clown as he could have been Great as a stright singer.

This version of such a beautiful classic, Conway Twitty song makes me cringe. Its absolutely awful.
