Since that time about 25 years ago had call to se it again and every time just as I seeing now, in hysterics, laughing out loud with tears coming down my eyes. Years ago, my sister-in-law called me one Friday after work, and the conversation went like this:
SIL: What are you up to tonight?
    Me: Nothing, why?
SIL: Do you want to come and see Freddie Starr with me?
Me: Oh, not really. He’s not my cup of tea.
SIL: Oh, go on. I was going to go with your brother, but he’s not well and I don’t want to go on my own.
    Me: Oh, alright.
We went to see him in Swansea Grand Theatre, and he had the place in an uproar. We laughed so hard, our faces and stomachs were hurting. It gave me a new appreciation for the man’s comedic genius. Rest in peace, Freddie.

Speaking of. Saw him and Barrymore in Panto once in Runcorn, it were kind of like the blue pantos Jim Davidson used do. It were called Cinderanus. An obviously drunk Barrymore and Starr were hilarious trying to one up each other, till they both ended up pants down, buttocks splayed and displaying their balloon knots to the crowd, in the end I think they did one up each other, absolutely vile, my 6 year old was traumatized, my mother-in-law stopped speaking to me, my nan and nandad loved it though.

Freddie was one of our greatest entertainers ever. His death and how his health had declined after the vile accusations was a tragedy. He is so missed for the wonderful comedic talent he had. The current crop of talentless PC garbage like Michael McIntyre, Alan Carr, couldn't wipe this man's shoes. Like Ken Dodd another of my heroes Freddie was an absolute legend. God bless him I wish he knew how much he was loved. RIP Freddie you should still be with us.
