People complain about the price but its quite a masterpiece and everything looks really good quality, Ive been around engines all my life, thats what made me click on this.
If you think that’s amazing, consider there are people who make them, every part and piece, at their home machine shop. There’s a guy who made a running model of a Rolls Royce v12 Merlin engine. He machined every last screw.
It would be the same technology as used to make full sized motors. CNC lathes and machining centers. The parts are smaller. I find watch parts really amazing because of how tiny they are. IMHO. 😊
People do actually put them in RC cars. Though, these engines are INCREDIBLY expensive. Its cheaper to go to the junkyard and get a real one and rebuild it with stock parts lol
I’ve said the same thing for years, maybe a smaller complete engine but you get to build the whole car Closest thing I did to this was a 1/12 RC car where I had to assemble whole transmission etc and respray the shell etx
Whoever's making you this kit is truly a fanatic That's for sure. I can't see how anybody could make any money producing all those parts but there it is, just amazing.
Its actually a company that makes these kits, they are several thousand dollars, the title of the video is just a tiny little bit misleading,it makes it sound like hes building this thing from scratch, its actually a kit that anyone can buy, the company is called Cison's, look it up if you have the chance.
Super cool ! That's the most realistic V8 I've seen built so far. The biggest difference is the engine not coming with a weed eater carburetor like most of the other scale engines I've seen on you tube so far. The intake manifold and a little carb that looks like a mini 4 barrel Holly. The pistons have compression and oil rings Instead of 1 ring like a 2 stroke. A lot of detail went into the design of that little engine. The distributor looked like the real thing. Oh and I love the little fuel tank :)
50 years ago, I got the bright idea that no matter what technology baffles us, doing a build that uses that tech will leave us knowing and understanding that tech. Like this engine, a Wankel, a helicopter, ANY tech. Excellent micro engine BTW!
I really like this engine. Many people will say that it is very expensive. But the truth is that manufacturing it is very difficult, especially when we are talking about a real working engine with a realistic design.

Im beyond certain you didn’t work for that money and if your parents are still alive the shame they must feel for leaving you money so you could waste your life and build $3000 toy engines. 😢
I have watched several of these builds, I am most impressed with this model with three piston rings, and push rods and adjustable valve clearances etc. The valve timing arrangement is less impressive, there are usually markings on the gears that are accurate to one tooth, I don't see this here. It appears to be real easy to get the valve timing out of whack, and probably a design where the pistons can hit the valves.

Great job... attention to details is important regardless how big or small an internal combustion engine is. Mine started out like yours, but added 90% Nitro-methane and 10% Methanol. It's a real screamer and just like real Top Fuel Dragsters, mine needs to be rebuilt every 10 seconds. For my next trick, going to make my RC Dragster hit 330 mph in 1,000 foot run on drag strip... pass the replacement parts....
What a fantastic video who would have ever thought this could be done? I wonder what you could put that engine in totally awesome great video thank you.
I worked on Detroit Diesel assembly line and we would lube the rubber cylinder sleeve 0-rings with a brush and Crisco. The rings were perfect for shooting at each other.
