The other 3 pin plug coming off the cdi unit is for a tachometer I’m pretty sure but you don’t need it, it just shows the rpm of the engine when it’s running
100% I'm building one at the moment and it's not needed to start the engine, but it does help a lot with tuning the engine by getting the timing and idle right.
The idea looks good on paper, but I feel like it’s just gonna end up on the shelf next to the nitro crawler but should make for a good couple of videos👍…
Adjust release chain on the pallet jack will fix it. I used to rebuild hydraulics.

First thing to do after any engine build is to turn it over by hand for a couple of turns ..make sure its free and not binding up ...

As cool as those little v8's are, they dont make nearly enough power to enjoy in a RC car
The machining on that scale small block is absoloutely exquisite. 2 large isn't cheap, but alot of precision machine work, scaling, mechanical drawing and attention to detail went into manufacturing that puppy. I want one.

even mounting it behind the cab would look epic kev. probably a more suitable area as well with shaft straight to rear diff housing. then eventually in future drop another v8 upfront possibly?😁

Dang! I was hoping to see that thing do some burnouts! The micro v8 is super cool! I wish they had those when I was a kid. Maybe they will make some more modern gas engines, could make better mechanics than we have now.
It would be so cool if the distributor was in the back of the block. It also appears that it's a little too big of scale for that car
Yeah, it's going to get in the way of too many components (suspension, diff, drive line) it's going to be crazy work to get that fitted. He'll have to come up with a custom clutch too.

Make sure you run the engine super rich during break-in.
I do believe with the other two you tried in the past both fell victim to running lean, that's when you run in to problems.😏

The spark plugs aren't working? Wasn't that exactly what happened with the Toyan V8?
Next video on this build should be like your other videos where if you break it you just keep going on with the video length and instead of cutting it short. It’s better the longer video seeing it get to the done then you partially work on it and it end in the same results as last time

At 1 point I also wanted to buy that v8 Engine But I couldn't find any documentation about The electronics. And they seem to be very Unreliable and expensive. So I gave up on the idea
