"our friend kurt's been gone for 20 years... he should be here.." omg that makes me really sad..

Kurt would definitely fucking hate all the attention though XD
I’m tearing up :’(
What I like about Krist is that he has never stopped saying 'Kurt should be here'.
+serst35 because they were BFFs since high school. He genuinely misses his friend.

I'm sure he still thinks about his old friend from time to time but he has definitely gotten on his life
Yeah can see it in him
thomasthedankengine ' Courtney did murder him though
I often think Kris seems mortally wounded by the loss, a part of him died too, it's like that when a close friend dies.
Would you?
I love how the first words out of Krist's mouth are a tribute to Kurt.
When he says ''He should be here' it's really sad.

WaterDrinkersUnited ?
WaterDrinkersUnited ohhhhhh u mean at paramount 😂
Nirvana played at the 1992 Mtv video music awards and at the end of the song Krist threw his bass in the air and didn't catch it when it came down and it hit him in the face. Fartman was there to present an award to Metallica and saw it all.

You can tell Kris genuinely misses his friend because he always brings up Kurt as soon as the interview starts. Like he wants you to never forget that he (Kurt) is still part of band even if he's no longer with us!

Novoselic once said to someone, "How many Nirvana concerts have you been to? Because I've been to all of them." It's true. He and Cobain were the only two humans to've been to every Nirvana concert.
He was in possession of Cobain's fecal matter demo for about a year before he got around to listening to it, but when he did, he loved the song "Spank Thru" and decided he had to form a band with Cobain.
When Nirvana decided to start letting themselves get wined and dined by major label representatives, Cobain did very little talking, leading most representatives to assume that Novoselic was the band leader. Of course, he's the only one in the band who couldn't sing.
Other than Al Yankovic, Novoselic is the only musician of whom I know who can handle the accordion, and he does so with skill and grace.

Clearly you haven't seen his interview with Nicole Kidman, but yeah, legends
Krist Novoselic is just a good dude, man. Always appreciated his passion for his music and his friends and his ability to give thoughtful answers to questions he's probably been asked a million times
I know a guy who was driving down the road in Washington, and stopped at a farm stand. Turne out Krist was the farmer. The guy started talking to him about music, and Krist suggested they should get together and play. They did. And they recorded. Freaking weird.
When you interview 2 music legends you should let them talk more about their band than you talk about yours.

It was my first concert. I saw them Dec 6 1993 and Kurt was found April 8 1994, four months later. It was devastating. They were the best
It was great being a teenager in the 90’s! I saw Nirvana at Reading in ‘92 when I was only 15, I had a friend who was older who was a punk, she went to Reading every year, she would hassle me to go to gigs with her but my dad would never let me until Reading ‘92. I also saw L7 in my local city in ‘92. Safe to say that was a good year!
