❤Donna is an amazing teacher. She is always so cool, calm, and collected. She gives you the confidence to accomplish the job. Thank you Donna for all you.
Once again, your clear explanations have made me (an absolute beginner) think: "I could do that." You are an excellent teacher, Donna. Your videos are a joy to watch.
The layout you chose has so much more movement and it’s much more interesting. I really like this pattern and your color choices. Oftentimes your color choices are far more interesting and attractive than the ones on the front of the pattern! That’s great because it encourages people to try their own color combinations and not to be constrained by the picture, and it shows how the interaction of the blocks can change simply because of different color choices.
I’m laid up with my hand and arm in a cast right now and I can’t tell you how comforting and entertaining it is to watch the long arm machine do its thing. Thank you,Donna.
I came into RUclips this morning with just a few minutes to spare before I head out to the bank and the courthouse to pay our taxes. And then I saw this new video from Jordan Fabrics. I froze for a moment thinking should I watch now or later? Of course I watched NOW! The bank and courthouse can wait. So what if it's 93 degrees when I head out. Donna's Quilt videos come first! And I'm so happy I watched because this quilt is a beauty!
I agree with you all, I watch her videos every time they come out and at the age of 70 plus, I have learned a lot from Donna, she explains everything so well and I sew better than I ever have
A nice Tuesday night surprise! I love how much you use batiks. Another great pattern brought to life with beautiful fabrics. Thanks Donna, for being an excellent teacher.
I appreciate how you make every video standalone as though we don't regularly watch your channel. Seeing you explain how and why you do things every time really helps it sink in. Also could you maybe make like a 10 hour ASMR compilation of you cutting fabric?😂 😂
This is really a beautiful quilt. I am not a fan of batiks for the most part, but this combo is very pretty. Loved your nails. You always match your project 😂 💅
Thank you for giving me the courage to try chain piecing. I'm making a fairly simple quilt for my daughter, but it would have taken so much longer had I not chain pieced.
Neither the pattern nor the fabrics spoke to me but, as always, I enjoyed this video. It’s because of you, Donna, supported by your crew. You always approach patterns and fabrics with enthusiasm and your directions are always impeccable. And your comments are always insightful. So, thanks to all for the time and effort put into these videos. It’s always a privilege and a joy to watch your offerings. And I think one of the special benefits of watching a video with fabric and pattern that don’t happen to speak to me is that I have a wonderful chance to think hard about about design and color ways. I think sometimes thinking about what your don’t resonate to is every bit as important as thinking about colors and patterns that grab my attention. Trying to understand the why about the what is good for my brain.
Wow! That quilt was so exciting! I've always been one to follow directions, however, when you showed how to turn each block to find different designs and I saw that design layout before you made your choice. I was sitting on pins and needles in hope that it was your choice too. Also, thanks for showing how taking a picture can help identify which looks best. Thanks again!
Donna this quilt looks great especially the material that you have chosen. I still would like to make the double wedding ring with the templates that I had bought and the templates where the same ones as you demonstrated on how to use the templates. Matter of fact I think I will try & find that tutorial and watch it again. Happy Quilting!!!
Just love the quilt pattern. I have been quilting for about 20 years, wish I had your videos when I started also like the way you used the phone camera to see how the pattern looked, great idea. Always enjoy watching your RUclips videos. Thank you so much.
I really like the pattern you chose for this and the layout was especially attractive. Batiks are my favorite! Thank you as always for a fantastic demonstration and is special tips.
When I saw the colors in the package, I was not sure that I would like a quilt made with such dark colors. However, the finished quilt is beautiful. Thank you for showing us what a great tutorial can do to allieve our doubts.
Love all the videos. Donna, you taught me how to quilt. I'm so glad you decided to video your quilt making. Nobody explains quilting better (in my opinion). Thank you! Maybe it is time for Matt to put a new cover on your ironing board. I've been seeing a lot of rips. Maybe he could even do another ironing board video. I made my ironing board from watching Matt's tutorial. Also, could you make the Cozy Quilt Designs "Tear Drops"? I am sure it will turn out wonderful in whatever fabrics you decide. I would like to make it, but I want to watch you (Donna) make it first. Thanks! I hope I'm not being too demanding! Lol
I love this pattern and the fabrics you chose. I agree that the layout you chose is more interesting. This is another for my bucket list! Thank you Donna!
That's a great method for this quilt! I just finished a business fabric banner. This will be displayed at my sisters business in Indianapolis! I'm so inspired by your channel! Loyalty Always Warren Ohio ❤
Good morning! When I first saw the picture for this video I thought I know this quilt! I have been using the Mirror Mirror quilt pattern since at least 2015! I have made at least half dozen in the king and queen size, a few lap size and the baby size too! I love how easy this pattern is! My colors were a lot brighter but your colors are amazing! It was so great to see this in the darker colors! Guess I will go looking for darker colors and try one of those! BTW all the ones I did have been in batiks. Thank you!
I would have quit quilting long ago, but your video’s like this one makes me download the pattern and knock one out, the kicker always being the backing and binding, not a fan of binding but that is because when finished zero stitches can be seen in the binding… going to just learn that a nice top stitch is okay to see one day, I also would have spent WEEKS laying that out using b/w photo’s, looking forward to being a layout natural like you are. The inner white boarder was instantly the first thing I thought was icing on cake.
Hi Donna. This is such a pretty quilt. I have just finished my first stash buster quilt. Now i know why people go to long arm quilters!!! I just made a small 40" x 50" lap quilt for my granddaughter and thought i could quilt it easy enough on my sewing machine. Well, I managed but OMG, I thought I was going to lose my mind. Im working on a larger one for myself but Iwill be hand quilting it! I love your videos and look forward to watching you every day. Thanks for all you do. ❤
Another gorgeous Quilty pattern. I keep telling myself to finish my UFOs before I buy another quilt pattern, but I had to break the role and buy this one. It looks so easy thank you Donna for another great video. And thank Matt I am on my third log cabin quilt. It’s amazing how fast they come together when you don’t have to cut out the fabric so thank you, Matt.
I think that is one of my favorite patterns as well. I do love the way that you laid it out, it is nicer than the other one, it looks more complex. But for how complex it looks, it really does start off with a rather simple square. Gorgeous!!!
When I saw the email, I thought you had made a mistake with the layout, but after watching the video, how relieved I was to see the change in the setup of the blocks. I very much prefer the layout you did. Thanks so much for another wonderful video.
Very pretty! Although I prefer your mirror mirror quilt from a few years back! The black, gray and white one was my favorite, but the orange, yellow and red was pretty too. Thank you so much for sharing.!❤❤❤
This quilt turned out so pretty. The colors are darker than I would have used but now I want to try the darker colors. Thanks for showing the different layouts. I like the one you choose to do.
The fabric you chose is gorgeous & it worked perfectly for this quilt. You make every quilt look so easy to make. Thank you for another awesome tutorial & generous giveaway.
I wasn't sure I would want a quilt constructed with such dark colors when I first saw the package's colors. The quilt is stunning when it is finished, though. We appreciate you demonstrating to us how a fantastic instructional may dispel our fears.
Donna, this quilt is so fascinating. I like the way you laid it out. Both ways are nice, and options are great, but the way you chose is my fave. I love the diagonal, almost basket weave of the finale. Great colorway. I learn so much from your excellent demonstrations and explanations. Thanks for sharing this with us. 😊💖✂️🪡🧵🤟🦓Liz
When I see a new video, I stop what I’m doing….❤️
😀
Me too😊
Same here
Almost. Making me late for work lolol. Explain that to the boss lolol
Mee too 😂❤

With only squares to cut and sew, this pattern is right up my alley.
Thank you for always making the pattern look like one anyone can put together. Your talents are so appreciated.
I agree with everyone on here, she is a great teacher. I love watching her videos

Yes, please! Plus if you added the quilting machine doing its thing that would be amazing, I could listen to that all day long.
Ooh I love the colors in this one. I also prefer the layout you chose. And can we appreciate the nail polish? Always on point, Donna!
Your videos are addictive Donna!
I won the guess the thread color! I never guess right! 😂😂 Thank you Donna ❤
Won the thread game tonight!!! 🎉
I lost - I chose the oatmeal!

Very cool pattern! The intersections almost look woven! ❤ Thanks for sharing!
Donna and the quilts are gorgeous as always ❤
Always the best, I appreciate all you and your husbands work! Love your videos!

Очень люблю смотреть твои мастер классы, Донна! Как преподносишь материал , чувствуется любовь к своему делу, к тканям, к изделию.

Love how the quilting design mimics the larger border. Another great video. Thanks Donna!
I saw that too!

LOVE the sound of the rotary blade cutting fabric 😊
This one is so beautiful. All of them are but this one is wow!
When I saw the colors in the package, I was not sure that I would like a quilt made with such dark colors. However, the finished quilt is beautiful. Thank you for showing us what a great tutorial can do to allieve our doubts.
Your videos make me believe an entire quilt can be made in under an hour
I am not that fast, it usually takes me up to a week to finish a quilt!
😂
This is one of my favorites that you’ve done.
Your quilts are always so much better than the example on the pattern!
Perfect day. On vacation in Lincoln City OR, sunny day, watching the ocean and a Donna video. Life is good and the universe aligned.
It’s so much brighter than I thought it was going to be. Love it and the layout too! Thank you Donna!
I agree. When I first saw the FQ's come out, my reaction was not good. I thought "yuck" so dark and drab, but the finished quilt is fab.
This quilt is absolutely gorgeous
So happy you sew on your videos.
I like the layout Donna picked on this quilt!!
Love all the videos. Donna, you taught me how to quilt. I'm so glad you decided to video your quilt making. Nobody explains quilting better (in my opinion). Thank you!

This pattern reminds me of one called Card Trick- only expanded looking❤
I LOVE THOSE COLORS AND THE ARRANGEMENT! SO BEAUTIFUL DONNA!
I really like your final layout! I don't usually buy fat quarters, but I just might for this pattern! Thank you for the video!
Gorgeous quilt! Love the fat quarter bundle.
I love this pattern and the fabrics you chose. I agree that the layout you chose is more interesting. This is another for my bucket list! Thank you Donna!
Od Donna, I think this is one of my favorite quilts you have made. I love the material you used as well. Great job .
Fun quilt pattern. I liked this layout best too so it was nice seeing it finished.
This looks like a great quilt to make because it's adorable. I'd will live to make this quilt. thank you
Great choice Donna. I love how it looks like a basket weave. You have the best choices in batiks. I hope you feel better.
That's a great method for this quilt! I just finished a business fabric banner. This will be displayed at my sisters business in Indianapolis!

I made this pattern for one of my children 2 years ago. It was beautiful.
Like this quilt. I enjoy watching you make all of them. I have learned a lot since I started watching. Thank you.
You always find the best patterns for us! Your videos are great! Thank you!
I love waking up to a new tutorial. Goes well with fresh coffee.
I guessed the thread color! 🎉 Neat quilt, great color selections.
I really love your quilt and i love the Chain method.

Do a top stitch on your binding using a color in the quilt you like it really comes out pretty
I love the 2nd design better😍😍
I was thinking the even layout was my favorite, but when I saw the layout you chose completed, I liked that better. It looks like it's woven loosely.
Hi Donna. This is such a pretty quilt. I have just finished my first stash buster quilt. Now i know why people go to long arm quilters!!! I LOVE THIS! Pattern, prints, colours, quilting!!!!!!
When I saw the email, I thought you had made a mistake with the layout, but after watching the video, how relieved I was to see the change in the setup of the blocks. I very much prefer the layout you did. Thanks so much for another wonderful video.
I like the second one. The diagonal one. I like how you show us several ways to make a pattern.
Beautiful! I love your choice of quilting pattern and thread
I love your videos! I have learned so much from them. Thank you for being a great quilting teacher.
Love the colors and design of this quilt!! Superb!!!
Liked the ease of the blocks and the choice of using them in a pattern
Absolutely gorgeous! Another hit, thanks. Love how the swirls on the border go with the swirls of the quilting pattern!
This is a stunning quilt ♥️ it’s one of my favorites. Thank you for sharing and your expertise!
I bought this pattern during one of your pattern sales so it’s great to see a video on it. Very pretty quilt, thank you!

Even when I'm sewing on my machine, I watch your videos on my laptop ! This Mirror Mirror is a good one!
I love how you make batiks shine - goals for sure - thank you
You definitely picked the more interesting layout. I wonder what this would look like in Kaffe and black.
I so look forward to your videos Donna! Some of them I am not ready to try, but they are all always beautiful and you make it look so easy
That quilt is stunning!
Looks great, batik are so beautiful. Thanks for sharing. 👍❤️🙂

I love the colours and the pattern you used for the quilting.
What a great quilt for a beginner! The colors are beautiful and I love the layout! Donna, you do a great job with tutorials, thank you.
