I am glad that this song won. We want to show that even in sad times we present not only sad songs. We have not only folklore, but also other modern music. Of course, we want to win, but it is important to show that Ukrainian music is developing and every year is different for the European audience.
I can explain you how the song has won! Can you see the signs of nuclear danger behind the singer's back? - That's what this song is about. All Ukrainians have hearts of steel to keep living despite daily threat of nuclear attack. It's easy to speak of it if you are hundreds kilometers from here, but when you are in Ukraine and you realize you can die any minute now... well, you have no other choice but to grow a heart of steel inside your chest. Ukrainians have voted for this performance, because it's about our feelings.
@@JordanDavisEurovision Yes, the subway is a bunker room where it can hold a show safely. In addition, electricity is provided by generators, since there are problems with the electricity supply after mass shelling.
Ukraine can be different. The whole country supports its Eurovision representative. This song is very light and relaxing. We are tired of suffering, but We are fighting for our freedom. We do not lose faith in our victory.
TVORCHI made this song in a name of the Azovstal defenders. In Ukrainian 'stal' means steel. And the message is pretty deep. But without crying, without folk motives. And it is so nice you liked OySound. They were in my top 3 as well (Krut, Tvorchi,OySound). Before the war we had a GogolFest many times. And just before Covid it took place in our city - OySound were on the stage and impressed the croud. It was unforgetable.
When Russia was represented by Manizha, she was insulted because she is Tajik. Now Ukraine is represented by an artist of another nation, and no one sees a problem. This is the difference between Russia and Ukraine. Good luck to Ukraine from Azerbaijan 🇦🇿💙🇺🇦
I always liked this song. It's VERY soulful and dark, and we need more of that in Eurovision. It gets stuck in your head after a while of listening. This is going to stand out. Is it gonna win? Probably not based on the song alone but they dont NEED to win! They need to have fun!
That’s what I like about it too, love dark and soulful, and love that it’s doing its own thing in its own lane. It’ll certainly add some dimension to the pack of songs
Once I heard it already knew, they gonna win. Despite what's going on, we don't cry or hide under the bed in depression. Because we know, that we are not alone, we have support and we are all united. So this song is actually very close to what we feel, nothing can break us anymore, because we have hearts of steel. 🦾🇺🇦
I am incredibly happy, that Tvorchi won, their performance was clearly the best. Many foreigners love the "ethnic Ukrainian" vibes, but to be fair I belive that most just Ukrainians grew tired of it lately. Ever since Russia started the war back in February a lot of mainstream musicians started creating patriotic / sad / war songs and in my opinion Tvorchi's win in Vidbir shows, that despite the war Ukrainians just want to listed to music, that doesn't remind them of the awful reality.

@@MoriMori I just saw them and I honestly expected it to be way closer lol. But whatever, Tvorchi won Vidbir and it's the public voting winner too. Sooo if people want to see this, I am totally fine with it. As I said, it was performed very well, really nice vocals
@@JordanDavisEurovision Yess! I am kinda excited for Albania. For me Albania was always like a "hit or miss" entry, so I am quite curious what they'll choose this time :>
In my opinion Angelina had one of the most generic songs ever, even Tember Blanche were better. Tvorchi are way ahead of their level, so I'm pretty happy with the results. Even though I also loved Krut and Jerry Heil, I can't lie to myself and say that I liked their live performances, so yeah
I'm ukrainian, but I don't like this song (
Well that's okay, not everyone likes everything!
So sad... I'm from Ukraine and I shocked. We had much, much better entries
Which was your favorite?
@@JordanDavisEurovision Krut. Thank you for your reaction, though:)
@@maakaroshka of course 😊. Kurt was the other song I was considering for my top 3
@@maakaroshka They need to add Ukrainian text. He sings Ukrainian really well
@@artemgubarev6061 якщо ви про Творчі, то так, було б крутіше, трохи переробити пісню і з українським текстом, було б непогано👍
Well I have to say I hate this song - bland, electronic and boring. Fully in english which I always hate on Eurovision. And the vocalist seems out of breath the whole song. I really wished Jerry Heil would be chosen because I love her neofolk music (I am a sucker for any folk music really).
Its chill, needs a punch though. Im happy with this choice. Not gonna win, but we dont need it too
