There are a lot of meanings in the staging, starting with the key words "Heart of steel", which were inspired by the heroic defenders of Mariupol, whose last resistance base was at the steel plant Azovstal (AzovSteel) with very deep bomb shelters. And radioactivity sign is also a symbol of constant ruZZia's nuclear threats, including taking over Chernobyl and Zaporizhska nuclear power plants by ruZZian invaders, shelling at the nuclear plant, and regular threats of using a nuclear weapon by terrorist state ruZZia. The lyrics can be interpreted in different ways and the brilliant staging links them to today's reality of war.

For some reason, most Eurovision fans say, that Ukraine usually sends ethnic songs, although IN REALITY only the last 2 representatives at Eurovision had songs with folk music masterfully merged with electronic (Go-A) or rap (Kalush), and of all other years, only Ruslana (2004) and Verka (2007) had Ukrainian ethnic elements. The rest of Ukraine's entries were very different but had NO Ukrainian folk elements. Ukraine has a wide variety of music, so don't limit your expectations to folk music only. :) The only thing about Ukraine at Eurovision is always true: Ukraine is unpredictable and sends very different songs with great staging.

There is a lot of various kind of music made in Ukraine, and Ukrainians love new and experimental music. This particular song to me musically is of soul genre - where there is seemingly contained expression but a very strong emotional content. I loved it!!! And the guys in the band themselves are very cool, nice and classy people, respected in the industry. Good luck to all Eurovision participants!!
Diversity - always been "typical" Ukraine. I love our folk, and really happy it's getting more popular, but we have a vast of different genres represented by lots of talented artists. The song is a grower. It is unusual for Eurovision but very well written and arranged. I am sure it will be polished even more, and if Ukraine managed to put on such an exciting show with excellent sound and creative visuals at the underground station during a blackout after a massive missile attack by terrorist state ruZZia, their Liverpool performance will be great.
