If people would pull the trailer out just enough to give it time to drain off before going up the ramp. That keeps the water at waters edge and not where your truck tires are. So drain your trailer before pulling out. Keeps the ramp from freezing up.
I am on my way to catch some largemouth smallies and spots in Colorado right now. Pueblo Reservoir is on 🔥 this time of year 45° or lower water temp. There is no such thing as winterizing my boat. Just fishing.
A good idea is to, when you quit fishing in cold weather. After you’re on the trailer ,raise the motor all the way up ,start it for two seconds, then drop it all the way down to drain all the water from the block. Then pour some rv antifreeze in the live well and sump.

Jonathan great video. I also needed to hear that passage today from John. God bless and have a Merry Christmas!
Excellent points. I've also wondered how much more brittle my fiberglass boat becomes in 20 degree air, as far as cracking is concerned.

Isn’t the jump pack a lithium battery? Aren’t you jumping a lithium jump pack to a lead acid in your boat?
Cold seize is a real thing. Let that outboard warm up before you hammer it.
Do not constantly charge your lithium batteries. That is terrible for them.
@7:36 lol
