    Maybe I'm crazy but I've never crocheted before and I chose this blanket to try for my very first project. I'm trying to get this done by December when my 4th baby is due. Wish me luck!!! 🤣

    Wow. Hats off. I’m sure this’ll get buried, but I just watched your old version with the Bernat blanket yarn and saw another comment about not cutting and tying every row… and now I stumble upon this? We love a crochet designer that takes feedback! I thought your note about that strategy looking better with worsted ewes insightful - and then you backed it up by making a whole new video!! Mad props. I never comment on videos, but now I can’t help but subscribe! ❤

    I am new to your channel and will add that this is a very pretty blanket. I love how you teach; and even your nails were so pretty. Others distract with colorful nails from the process.

    Love this blanket and the other one with the fluffy yarn I am starting the one with the Bernat blanket yarn now but I saw this video and how when you switch colors you switch from the opposite side that you just finished, just wondering how come you did that with this one but not the one with the fluffy yarn? Can you do it this way with the Bernat yarn? Still a beginner trying to learn and do new things 😊

      I'm 5 ft 11, so I need a really long blanket, I got 10 rows in with the double crochet (color A) and I need 9 more skeins of (color a) yarn to get the width I want. the width is 7inches at this point. I'm planning on making it 60in wide.

    • @selkie.strings
      @selkie.strings 4 месяца назад +1

      the length is basically 2 in shorter than a queen blanket, which is 80×60

    I'll make a blanket in adult size. When adding chains, should I increase by 5 or by 3? Because when adding yarn B, the pattern is single crochet, then skip 3 chains, then single crochet.
