    Since I saw this project I couldn't get it off my mind. I was so in love with the color combination you used and the design, that after spending days searching, I asked my cousin in US for help to find the Caron yarn and ship it to the Netherlands for me. I made myself a present, for my birthday.

    I crocheted an afghan just like this 55 yrs ago except the multi colored yarn was brown, rust, tan, green and gold. It was a gift to my mom.

    Just completed the queen size version of this blanket. I used the exact colours listed here and after a moth and a half it's finally finished! This is the first crochet project I've ever done and you made it feel so easy and natural! Absolutely beautiful piece! Thank you!

      @@DonnaSullivan-op4swhi there. I just finished this blanket for a queen size bed and made it 66x75. That was 220 stitches I believe, and you could even go a little more if you want it draped over the sides more. Mine just drapes over slightly on the sides but is plenty long!

      @@nicothecat I believe I used 8 full balls and then 3/4 of another 4 of the colour ways. So almost 12 in total

    I've always been drawn to the color changing, and ombre yarns. I think they are beautiful yarns. I wanted to combine different colors of that type yarn together, but wasn't sure it would look right. Now I know it will! Thank you for a beautiful afghan tutorial.

    I just made this blanket in a baby stroller size using blossom, pink grapefruit, and yatch club for my cousin's baby girl. I made a ruffled border. It's stunning.

      @@CJDesignblog I forgot to mention I bought the pattern. It was very helpful to have the number of chains and rows for the various sizes. I struggle with putting borders on the sides where there are no real stitches. The diagram showing where to put the stitches was extremely helpful and took the stress out of doing it. 🙂❤

    You did a wonderful job creating this beautiful blanket. After watching the video; I purchased all the yarns listed; watched this video again to make sure I understood the instructions. I’m ready to go. I also printed the instructions for reference. The pictures of this blanket looks so cozy. I can’t wait to be able to snuggle up watching tv.     Making this now (in a larger size) and it’s beautiful! I really love it. A classic granny stitch blanket in a very pretty colouway (changed the pinkish one for a green/blue yarn instead but still used the other colours) Thanks!

    Thank you for this wonderful pattern, it's perfect for the blanket I was looking to make as a wedding gift for family - I chose Macaw yarn color and cabana (which are their wedding colors) Yellow / orange/ green and brown... I think they will love this.

    This really is stunning just as you said. Not that I need another blanket but this is irresistable! And like another commenter, a great reason to buy more of this yarn! Oddly enough I was not crazy about this yarn at first but it is so easy to work with as a beginner because it does not split, and the colors! Wow! Thanks for sharing.
    Oh No! I can't find Passion Fruit anywhere and that's my favorite color! (BTW the PDF pattern is great for making this in other sizes!)

      We’re you able to find passion fruit? I don’t think I’ve seen it and can’t find it on v or eBay or Michael’s or Amazon. No pics or anything. I’m stumped. I wish they weren’t getting rid of them. I love the yarn.

    Couldn't find the Caron Blossom Cakes in the UK, so I bought similar and cheaper. Also bought Biscuit colour instead of white. It's looking good. Thank you❤❤

    I am making this blanket with roll with it melange in colorway show time and a light gray for every 4th row. It's gorgeous, wish I could attach a picture. It's a good alternative if you can't find the blossom cakes.

      Blossom cakes are rather pricey, even on sale. I just can’t pull the trigger. I’ll look through my stash for similar yarns like you did.

      @heidiferguson2123 I tried with switching colors,, I need practice 🤭 I did a few row of a solid color and realized I needed to stich mark because all my edges where WAAYYY crooked 😅 🙃 Again, super new to this and I didn't realize how time consuming it is to crochet

    I just LOVE this blanket! But, is there any way to find out what order you used the colors? I even bought the pattern hoping the color order would be listed there, but unfortunately, they're not. With the 2 skeins of Radient, I'm not sure where it should fit between the other colors to be used twice as much! haha! Can you please tell me the color order!?

    Goodness those colours.....just love them. Perhaps I'll have to ask my daughter in law to bring me some from the USA. I don't find any in South Africa and being winter here it's time to crochet or knit!

      I don’t have a specific order, they all look really good next to each other. I started with radiant rainbow and I would follow with cabana, tropical bloom and passion fruit. But sometimes I would change it up a bit. I used radiant rainbow a little bit more than the other ☺️
      With the Yacht club in between, like I showed in the video :)
