Super Sweaty Step Aerobics | At Home Workout with Four Combos | Intermediate | Fun Choreography

  • So excited for all intermediate-level steppers to try my newest workout. The choreography progresses much faster than my other basic or beginner step workouts. I will always begin with a base move and progress quickly to a more advanced move. You always have the option of staying with the base move. I promise to get you pretty sweaty in under 40 minutes, especially if you want to get your heart rate up.
    Strengthen both your mind and your body as you sweat through this workout. I cue different options you can choose from to make it work for you. This workout is super effective for those wishing to gain strength, endurance, and burn a lot of calories all while having fun.
    I believe anyone can step, and feel successful. Follow the options that work for you and your specific goals. I have many step workouts on my channel at beginner, basic, intermediate, and advanced levels depending on what you enjoy.
    Description:
    Begin with a fun choreographed warm-up then boost metabolism, shape your lower body (butt and thighs), build lean muscle, and get nice and sweaty all while having fun as you work through 4 fun combos. You can join in on the higher impact moves or keep it low impact. I've added a finale in the end where we'll do the combos back to back, then cut them in half and weave them together. (Many of you have expressed how much you love to weave the combos at the end, and I listened!) Of course, we'll stretch together at the end after a quick choreographed cool-down.
    (Modified options are cued throughout the entire workout.)
    This workout was filmed at 130 bpm.

    Excellent intermediate step cardio workout - logically layered with clear audio. Thank you for keeping step aerobics alive, Jenny. It's my favorite fitness format, but so rare to find live. So your channel is such a blessing to me.

    Second time around, I was able to do all of the higher impact moves! I feel so accomplished, I’ve come so far from taking breaks during your 30 minutes step workouts, and I made it through this intermediate level workout with no breaks!! Thank you so much!!!

    Jenny! SO happy to find you! Step aerobics have been my FAVORITE workout since the 80s, but good routines are all but extinct these days. Such a blessing you are! THANK you SO MUCH! :)

    I remember when this one came out! I did it again today and remembered just how much I love the pacing!! Things get crackin' (we move out of the basic moves) right away and you really don't spend excessive time on easier moves before presenting more challenging options throughout the whole thing!     This a great workout. I have been doing step since it was invented. During lockdown, I bought a step and have started taking Jenny’s classes on RUclips. It’s different at home since we face the instructor rather than follow her and there are no mirrors to see what is going on when we are not facing front. I find this intermediate level workout perfect and pair it with a 10-minute ab workout. The forty minutes on the step with Jenny fly by whereas the ab workout seems to take forever.

    Love this one Jenny. I have been doing step since Gin Miller first introduced it. I have stepped with Cher, Jane and The Firm. All in my home ,of course.I discovered your You tube videos in 2015. I have also done your marching work outs while traveling. Thanks for keeping Step alive. Three decades and still sweating with Step.

    well this is the 3rd online step workout I have done and it is great! I knew most of the moves from my leisure centre classes but a few were different which was good. I can honestly say I have had a great workout and will be doing more again with Jenny Ford. So easy to follow and good communication!

    Geez I love these combo ones Jenny. I wish you would do more. I have moved to other step instructors because they are posting new ones regularly, but I sure miss your instruction.     I started doing your marching workouts in Feb 2020 to get active and to lose weight. You are so inspiring, I thought I would dust off my step that I had never used. I started with your learn to step videos and progressed. I did all the Step Across America ones and now I just did my first Intermediate Step! Thank you Jenny. You are an amazing instructor. I could not have done this without you. You are so genuinely encouraging! I so appreciate that. You always provide lots of options without judgement. I feel fantastic. Oh - and I've lost 30 lbs. :o)

    I loved this video and did get super sweaty! I'm a beginner and did get a little confused at times during the combos, but you explained the exercises so well that I did much better than I expected. I also appreciated the encouragement throughout the workout. Thank you!

    I just finished this video! It was exactly what I needed. I haven't worked out in a while and I've been feeling pretty down. Not to mention how high my anxiety has been!     Found this class beginning of last week..have now done it four times :) I love the pace and the moves are fun without being too tricky for my middle aged non dance moves brain! The only move I just can't put together is cutting the corners instead of marching around the step strangely enough. But this is a great class for me

Great workout and nice choreography - interesting variety of moves which are not too complicated and I like your clear instruction and timely cueing.     Great cardio workout! Cues were easy to follow and instructions were very clear. I have not done step aerobics in several years, but this was the perfect class to jump back in to as an advance/intermediate workout. Challenging yet easy to follow. Definitely coming back to this one!

    Thank you for this great step workout! I love that it is not "dancy"- just solid moves. Could you do another one in this time amount (about 45 min) with more of the old early 90's "alphabet" steps and around the world moves and maybe some 80's music? I love how you cue and transition into parts of the routine. Thanks! Step is truly the only exercise I ENJOY doing :)
