  • Quick beginner step workout that's easy to follow, especially for first-time steppers. Great if you're short on time. Anyone can do this step aerobics workout. Warm-up is wrapped into the main workout, then boost metabolism, shape your lower body (butt and thighs), build lean muscle, and get nice and sweaty. Quick power cardio bursts are included in the last few minutes. You can join in on the power bursts, or keep it low impact. (Modified options are cued throughout the entire workout.)
This workout was filmed at 126 bpm. I used a simple beat track in the background in case you want to play your own favorite music as we step together.
Always love to hear from you. Leave me a comment! Always love your feedback! We'll be filming new workouts each week, so be sure to subscribe to my channel so you don't miss out. Thank you for your support, as always!

AND there are two things that make me laugh to myself every time I do this routine ... 1. You say (I forget exactly, but) "I'm feeling strong, how are you feeling?" .. I say to myself "a little overweight, tired, and a bit crap". You say in your video "good!" hahaha! 2. You say "I'm always here for you" and laugh. Of course you're always there for me. You're a RUclips video!! Makes me chuckle to myself every time!! Thanks Jenny for the workouts :)

@@jenniferbond7073 It's been a year, now... I still use the same 22 minute J.F.F. program just about every other day to keep me limber. I lost 28 pound (2 stone UK measurement) do to running and resistant training (no weights), I can run 10km with no problem. I usually run 25km a week. My advice: Don't push too hard after the 6 weeks but don't ever give up. Take it easy and be proud every day that you are doing a little bit better. Give yourself breaks to rest. Never beat yourself up/punish yourself for what cannot be done... Everything takes time. I wish you all the best. My foot is as strong as ever but the memory will be with me forever.

This is great! I just did 7 mins at 3/4 time as little work break. I'll do at least one more before I'm done my work. Starting slow to keep myself motivated at my low fitness level. My brain is awake again now back to work.

Used to be good at step in my 20s - now finding it hard at 57! but will keep trying and build up. Lowered my step.

My friend and I love it. Enjoy the automatic adjustable angles. Feels very stable and safe. Picked the wider tract. Loved the price on it. Great for our new year resolution to exercise more.

I haven't done step in forever, but now I remember why I loved it so much. It was good to feel the muscle memory return. Thanks.

I love your videos, Jenny!!! I am trying to get back into working out and this is just what i needed. I love the ~20 minute ones for a quick workout a beginner like me can do. Especially with the timer. I am so glad I discovered Jenny Ford! Thank you, Jenny!!!!

Loving all your videos, I cleaned out my garage, put an old TV, mats and an existing step out there and I do RUclips or march accross America nearly every day. Love it and about the closest I'll get to America for a while now I'm sure! (From Aberdeenshire, Scotland) Keep well x

Wow this is a really good 'old skool' step workout. I used to do step in my mid 20's, so 30 years ago. And I loved it then. This routine is exactly what I used to do back then. I have to lower my step now, but I've only just started back into it. It was a really good workout and was sweating buckets at the end of it, but so enjoyed it and will keep following this routine

Not including stretches this got me about 2,000 steps on my Fitbit. Thank you! I’ll be using this again when it’s too cold or rainy to run :)
