- Hi everyone, thank you for 26:39 of your time. In this video I rebuild an old computer instead these parts to finish in trash and I make some mod to look better. Isn't something powerful and special but still okay for some stuff and playing older games.

only thing i would change is maybe adding those growing dinosaurs to the water, so you have something floating in the 'biohazard' vials

Man, there's nuttin quite like cleaning old cruddy PC parts to a shiny operational state once again. Like watching people do it, but actually doing it yourself? Thats a beautiful thing there

Amazingly well done!!! The only thing I would change would be to make the rear IO plate black with yellow stripes or maybe even red to match the power button, instead of the original shiny metal color. Also maybe paint the aluminum part of the GPU shroud yellow as well. Still an incredible build!!!
I have the tech know how, but do not possess the artistic talents to make a case like this. Gotta say I'm very impressed. :)
i havent seen something this iconic yet weird at the same time for a long while... the fact that you have installed an AIO on a LGA 775 platform somewhat intrigues me, but also fascinates me for how old this is. keep up the good work !

I would recommend that you use a 750w PSU with the GTX 690, because the card has two graphics chips which easily can use a lot of power
I agree 750w is just good, 500w is too low, but I plan this PC build with 550ti. I used 690 just to test

I love your mods man, and that paint job is amazing, awsome job. Windows 10 runs quite well even on some rather old hardware provided you have enough RAM, I rebuilt a friends old Athlon 64 with Windows 10 and with 8GB RAM is plenty fast for basic usage, even youtube. More than I can say for that POS Windows 11.

Next time if you use a 1/4” drill bit to the center of the rivets. The rivets will come out without damaging case using a chisel.
I still have a bag of those round IDE cables in yellow and red xD!

btw thats a gtx 690 and not gtx 960, unless if its a gtx 960 with a gtx 690 cooler. correct me if im wrong.

That looks sick bro! Top execution of the plan! Best one yet! Just two suggestions, remove the side spring and paint the gpu cover to match the rest of the colpr palette

I'm stuck in the GTX690, one day I wanted one of those and went into a coma for years, when I woke up I saw som crazy 3090 and I still can't say goodbye to yesterday.

Yes it is good, I use it very often, is doing a great job for these smaller jobs and details, btw this is one of the cheapest available, not some expensive " high quality" :D

What do you mean by "affordable" when he made all of this from old parts? The rest is PC case that he cleaned, cut, drilled, glued, combined, rearranged the design, painted...

I'm thinking in terms of someone who would buy something like that from a person who would build this, not as someone who would make it.
Just looking at the craftsmanship and time used for this project, it won't come cheap if he'd be willing to sell it.

literally turning trash to treasure, very epic build, one thing i would change is maybe make the internals look more scratched up and rusty maybe
Am i the only one who keeps hearing 960 but the card is 690?
Anyway, i would put some modern components inside (not overkill, just decent ones) because all that modding with the case and those cylinders with fluorescent liquid is just LIT.
It looks very awesome on the outside, it's a shame to have low spec config on the inside. I hope this build will have an upgrade in the future because it's deserve it

Great paint job. Amazing how long Core 2 Quads have hung in there.
These core 2 quads are still not bad for very basic things, 15+ years later
