I just want to say that you made me interested enough to start my own repair shop. My life has improved so much since I found your videos 2 years ago. Thank you so much.
I found this video to be very professional: super sharp close-ups, flawless editing, pristine sound and perfect image, and great attention to detail. The mouse repair was more of a restoration than a repair. Congratulations, man. I look forward to new content on your workshop channel
suggestion: it would be cool if you could show MSI Afterburner when you run the games so we can see the fps, clocks and temperatures, since you clean and apply a high quality thermal paste
Nice one. Personally I would take out the entire 'repaired' palm rest and spray paint on it to have a more uniform appearance without the colour of the corner looking sorta out of place.
Good video, you need to consider that the allen is made of metal and the weel is made of plastic so if you sand it after stick it that can melt the glue or the plastic of the weel, so knowing the measure of the place you need to cut, you could sand it before to minimize the risk for temperature, I'm a spanish speaker so if you dont understand what I'm writing, it doesn't matter. I really enjoy your videos and have been following them for quite some time. Anyways, I really like that laptop motherboard. A big greeting from Argentina :D.
Your videos are awesome I have been watching them for years now, I wanted to ask a question: How did you fix the random lockup problem? What did it turn out to be?
Thanks Andrew for the Vid ... When You setup Windows You must have preffered Settings to turn Off or and On .. Could You do a Video on Your Preferred Windows 11 / 10 Setup's .. Love the Videos Thank You
Nice repair on the laptop and mouse. Most people probably wouldn't even bother to repair a mouse, they instead throw it away or swap it for a new one. And good job on the upgrades for the laptop, too - though why sell a Ryzen 7 laptop with just 4GB of soldered on memory? At least it has 12GB now, though in my opinion, you can never have too much fo RAM! I'd have also added secondary disk if the cable/connector was there.
I do bother bro, this is not the cheap mouse, but even if it's some cheap why not to repair if its possible. Btw yes, the 4GB is soldered on the motherboard, and max support is 12GB only
@@ComputersAndTechAndAndrew that's excellent, I do like it when things are repaired or repurposed instead of just being thrown out. And I am surprised they would sell a Ryzen 7 laptop with 4GB soldered RAM. Surely it is possible to have 20GB instead, like 4GB soldered + extra 16GB?
The wheel is rotating but is shifting left and right. The rotation must be very straight because if it's not straight rotation then the wheel will constantly hitting the side plastics and the LEDs from the inside the wheel
i like to watch you repair a microsoft suface pro tablet. i want to learn the easiest way to repair/change bloated battery, broken lcd, malfunction ssd, antenna and many more.
I start with a job in a local repair shop a very long ago, but mostly I learn by working and watching tutorials, giving a try, experimenting. btw I don't have a degree in electronics :D
@@ComputersAndTechAndAndrew Well done brother, I suggest that you consider either writing a book or making a course or multiple ones, you have enough experience to either do one or both.
Hello Andrew ! Love your videos ! How did you fixed the keyboard problem ? I have the same laptop but the key * keep appearing while searching like it s being pressed (but it isnt). Any advice ? I changed the thermal paste, upgraded the ram and checked the cable but the problem persists...
3D printer is good, but most people don't have 3D printer, this is how to fix something with stuff available for everyone. Btw even if I used 3D printer the part will be much weaker than using metal
the only thing I would change is that 8gb upgrade, I would have used a 4gb stick instead, as 8gb dual channel are gonna be better than 12gb in single channel

this maybe your most satisfying video or maybe because I was feeling sleepy
You are improving yourself with every video.

Nice job! Nice laptop too
I didn't really understand any part of the wheel balancing part.
The wheel is rotating but is shifting left and right. The rotation must be very straight because if it's not straight rotation then the wheel will constantly hitting the side plastics and the LEDs from the inside the wheel
Just imagine your handwheel in your car is not aligned it's the same concept
Perfect job!👌
keren banget ni org.. respect from indonesia bro

Cleaning cooling fans always seems to be the hardest part.

Yes you can bro, if the thermal pad is okay why not. Just if the thermal pad is too dry like carboard than you need to change it.

I like how you repaired and Made spare part of the mouse.. the others maybe Will use 3D printer
3D printer is good, but most people don't have 3D printer, this is how to fix something with stuff available for everyone. Btw even if I used 3D printer the part will be much weaker than using metal

Andrew while you cut the hexagonal rod I saw sparks coming onto your hand doesn’t it hurt please use gloves man I mean it looks pretty scary
Nah these sparks just tickle a bit nothing dangerous.
@@Techie111 got it thanks for clarifying ☺️
Not dangerous bro, all is fine, these are very small sparks
The videos are a bit serious, it would be nice if you added some background music to make it more entertaining like the previous videos.
nah, He used to have music and people complained, so stop it, we have what we asked for
No music make the repair very serious 😅
You certainly have some pantience, I would have thrown that in the bin.
BGM??
Music Got Muted
the only thing I would change is that 8gb upgrade, I would have used a 4gb stick instead, as 8gb dual channel are gonna be better than 12gb in single channel
