@jonathancohoon oh for sure and I was pissed we went and won games we had no business winning late but getting #1 here with a kid who played for the sharks Jr program is huge.

Sharks passed on 2 Hall of Famers. They could have got Forsberg. I did not know this. But remember Pat Fallon was a disappointment.

As a hawks fan I find it hilarious how much fans hate our team. We’ve won’t 3 cups in a decade and have been awful since and were awful before that. Nobody in the league favors us😊

I can see the Red Wings trying to move up with a trade. San Jose's second first round pick is in a very interesting position to be traded. San Jose can add more draft picks The Canadians might also do some draft pick trades to move up.
As a hawks fan I’m a little disappointed we didn’t win, but the more I think about it the more I realize that San Jose desperately needed to win. Congrats San Jose fans!

Chicago won the second draw or they would have drafted third. Celebrini has ties to Aan Jose, no chance they pass on him.

I question the legitimacy of the NHL draft. Too much goes on behind closed doors. Conner Bedard just happens to go first to Chicago last year? Seems like the biggest markets somehow manage to get big name players. The Minnesota Wild have alway been mediocre at best. Relatively small market. I am using just a couple examples but I do believe more goes on behind the scenes. Why not do it live with no idea what will happen?? Exactly.
They record it. That video is posted every year. It's a really boring process. No one moved up or down this year which goes against your argument.
