Brodie born in 2000 and raised in saratoga, been a sharks fan my whole life feel like I’ve seen you on tv my whole life between A’s and sharks you’re the mf man keep up the sharks RUclips content 🤙🤙
JD hit the nail on the head so hard. The only moves I haven't liked about Grier have been his coaching choices. Even worse than Quinn, the AHL coach needs to be focused on as well, for all the development.
I miss Jason Demers as a Shark. I still recall the disappointment I felt when he was traded to Dallas. I hope the Sharks will find a place for him within the organization. He’s smart and has a fun, infectious personality. He would be a positive mentor for the up-and-coming baby Sharks.
Thanks Brodie and Jason. Really interesting to hear Demers take on the coaching situation and about the worth of Vets and playing the right way. I was all for tanking another year but now I'm not so sure. Dont want to become another Buffalo or even Edm when Connor came in and was expected to be the saviour straight away.
Don’t know how to say this less mean, but I always thought Brodie was a yes man. After watching his podcasts about the A’s and the Sharks, Brodie is easily my favorite voice on all things Bay Area.
Great interview provided another perspective on building a team. Its the right mix of vets and young players. Dallas has done a good job of adding in new young players. Plus they have Pavs mentoring the younger players.
I'd love the Sharks aiming for a top 10 pick next draft. Somewhere in the 9-12 pick range would be above expected. Let's hope it's not a Top 5 pick, but if it is then we really need progress the season after.
Whoever the Sharks interview as head coach, Grier should make sure that Jumbo Joe and Patrick Marleau are in on the interview process and ask them their feedback, I think they should hire Craig Berube.
Let’s Go SHARKS!!! 👏🏼👏🏼 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 #1 pik in Franchise History!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 what a year for it and Deff wouldn’t mind seein Jay Woodcroft bak on tha Sharks bench 🤷🏻♂️ 🫡🙏🏼👌🏼🔥🔥🔥🦈🏒🚨🚨🚨🚨
Tavares (C) for Canada, to the Sharks next year? Leafs need to shed some weight in their salary cap!! I heard San Jose was close before he signed in Toronto!!
I think people are harder on David Quinn because I see it the other way where you can coach your ass off but the players need to execute and the roster was what it was. Also, I like Nico Sturm, but I'm tired of hearing him talking... his stats are horrible. It's not like he's the next coming of Wayne Gretzky here. If he wants to talk, tell him to start producing more and maybe we'll listen
I’m sure David Quinn is a really nice guy, but a lot of it is on him. As it’s been said before, you can have a bad team, but can still be competitive and watchable. The Sharks were neither of those things this year and a lot of that falls on the coach. And I don’t understand why you’re giving Nico Sturm such a hard time. He’s not there to be the next Wayne Gretzky. He’s there to be a 3rd line and 4th line grinder. No, his stats were not great, but nobody on the team had good stats this year. Even when he wasn’t scoring, he was one of the very few guys on the team that was consistently pushing and playing hard every single shift that he was out on the ice. He had the best face-off percentage in the league. And when he speaks, he also holds himself accountable by including himself with the rest of the group when addressing what went wrong with the team. He doesn’t give the same old tired, cliché answers that’s so many other NHL players are so prone to do. He is bluntly honest and that is something the Sharks desperately need more of. It makes no sense why you’re attacking him when other players and factors easily deserve more of the blame.

You are just a young pup. You don't even remember 9/11.
Please make more content with this pairing, you two have some great insight and make it entertaining!
Great interviewer! You two should do more shows together. And Sharks need to hire Jason!
Love when JD comes on the RUclips. Genuinely enjoy his takes. Thanks for consistent content Brodie, let's go Sharks 🦈🫡
JD hit the nail on the head so hard. The only moves I haven't liked about Grier have been his coaching choices. Even worse than Quinn, the AHL coach needs to be focused on as well, for all the development.
I still love Brodie’s reaction to the sharks 🦈 getting the first pick in the draft was cool
Great synergy! Brodie, I hope we are turning things around soon, Sharks fans need some positivity going forward 😊
I miss Jason Demers as a Shark. I still recall the disappointment I felt when he was traded to Dallas. I hope the Sharks will find a place for him within the organization. He’s smart and has a fun, infectious personality. He would be a positive mentor for the up-and-coming baby Sharks.

Hello from a Sharks fan in NY. Here’s hoping to a bright future 🙏
Can never get enough Sharks content
Jason looks good. I love what he said about how you need to learn to win in the NHL.
Coach Demers has a ring to it 😏
Great video! The future is teal
Don’t know how to say this less mean, but I always thought Brodie was a yes man. After watching his podcasts about the A’s and the Sharks, Brodie is easily my favorite voice on all things Bay Area.
His expansive content in other regions across the league is insightful. Glad I discovered BB!
What everyone else is saying...more of you and JD! Call it the Bro Daddy show. 😉
😳 thanks!
Great interview provided another perspective on building a team. Its the right mix of vets and young players. Dallas has done a good job of adding in new young players. Plus they have Pavs mentoring the younger players.
Nice Tuesday morning BJ! More please!
(That’s Brodie and Jason you naughty fools)
He’s be a great D Coach! Bring him on
I'd love to see him coach. More ex SJ people around the thr club in general will ensure good culture for the young-uns I reckon
Great video Brodie! I have loved watching your journey through sports media. We’re lucky to have you in the bay!
Let's go San Jose sharks 🦈
Wil Smith and Celebrini? Great foundation 🙌
Jesus, could you imagine having Hagens, Smith, and Celebrini? That would be some firepower.
Relax, it is not happend
Love your sharks content
I'll give you a few names. Phill housely , James Patrick. I think Mike Grier has a history with these 2 in Buffalo.
What a phenomenal breakdown by JD
I'd love the Sharks aiming for a top 10 pick next draft. Somewhere in the 9-12 pick range would be above expected. Let's hope it's not a Top 5 pick, but if it is then we really need progress the season after.
So we're critical of Quinns coaching but do we know what scheme the sharks were using? Was it a 1-3-1? 2-2-1 or a 4-1?
He'll turn 18

I thought I was just being a homer with the idea of bringing Thornton back, but if JD thinks it's a good idea...
I think Marco Sturm would be a very interesting hire.
JD!
Whomever it is for coach. It’s a placeholder for Pavs for when he retires.
Well that rules out Gerard Gallant based on the young composition of the team.
Tavares (C) for Canada, to the Sharks next year? Leafs need to shed some weight in their salary cap!! I heard San Jose was close before he signed in Toronto!!
No thanks on Todd McLellan.. Woodcroft would be great, part of me wouldn't mind Galant either.
No Gallant. Bad with young players
Just play the trap like every team boring hockey at its best
Jay woodcof ? Bring back Mcellan
Eiserman pls fall to us at 14 🙏
Macklin should not yet make the jump and just stay put at BU for another year.
JD = PLD

Come on. They only had a handful of NHL caliber skaters on their team last year. Structure doesn't mean shit without talent to execute it.
